Closeby there was a concert happening and throughout night someone was knocking the door (obviously not a fault of owner). However this is a area with lots of people not suitable for calmness and sleep

No parking, I didn’t have a bedsheets for one bed (bed was mentioned in the offer) and in this case host didn’t really helped us. I was surprised with a 100€ damage deposit but the money has been returned.

There was steep stairs up to the apartment and the floor boards creaked when walked on.

We booked a "deluxe apartment" and I guess, foolishly, I assumed it would be one of the apartments in the photos, with a nice double bed and cosy furnishings, but apparently not. We got four bunk beds with tiny child-sized duvets and an uncomfortable sofa bed with cushions that smelled like they needed a good clean. The place looked more like hostel dorms I stayed in in my twenties than anything that might be described as "deluxe". Several plates in the kitchen cupboard were dirty, and the kitchen was supplied with a washing up sponge that looked worryingly old and bacteria-ridden. After booking I was notified that I needed to pay a 100€ damage deposit in advance, which is mentioned on the booking.com listing but cleverly placed exactly where nobody will actually see it. The deposit was returned quickly after we left but was still an unpleasant surprise. The walls and floors are very thin in the building and we could hear all the other occupants pretty loudly. There was also an unpleasant smell in the building, though this is probably due to the building's age and not really anybody's fault. There were no lamps to read by, just harsh overhead lighting and a disco light.

The location is reasonably central. Key pickup was easy. The bathroom was actually very nice. The coffee machine made decent coffee. The stovetop worked well enough. All the kitchen facilities were functional. Most of the apartment was clean.

The €100 deposit before arrival - see last comment

The location was fine - we were able to walk there from the station after arriving by train. Felt quite central. The room was comfortable, the bathroom was good and everything worked OK. The only thing I did not like was the €100 deposit that had to be paid before the key safe password was given out. I understand the need for a deposit in case of breakages or theft, but it added another layer of annoying bureaucracy to the whole process. Otherwise, all was well.

The area doesn’t look one of the safest ones to be honest but this is nothing the owner can do. Noise until late from one of the corner bars.

The property was nice . Very comfortable beds . Internet worked fine. Everything was clean. I loved the big windows and how much natural light was in our flat. Loads of shops around to buy food and drinks at decent prices

The big problem was that the 100 euro deposit had to be paid into a. iNG bank accpun. I did not have the ING app and in the end we had to meet someone outside the train station to hand over the cash. It was very stressful and time consuming.

1- House area lots of immigrants living. 2- After creating your reservation through Booking.com, the property requested a €100 deposit via a private message and did not share the check-in details until you sent the deposit. When you contacted Booking.com customer service about this issue, they were also unhelpful, and you were forced to send the deposit. After completing your stay, you had to request the return of the deposit multiple times, and it was only refunded after 1 month. Despite sending the deposit along with the bank commission fees, the host returned only €90 without adding this amount. Despite my objections, the remaining balance was not transferred. Please consider these issues before making a reservation.

Contact with the host was not great, not really friendly. The neighbourhood was not really a good one. We didn’t always felt save in the evening/night. The bathroom is located next to the second bedroom so everybody needs to go through the bedroom to go to the toilet, in the night this is not ideal. I just think the price is too high for the apartment. We stayed there for one night and that was enough.

The beds were comfortable, everything was clean and the WiFi was good.
