There was strange smell in the room and the bathroom.

Perfect location, very near to tram station, bus station, supermarkets and tourist spots. Well-equipped studio. Smooth self check-in process.

The hotel was unstaffed at all times. Communication about checkin procedures was not clear. Customers, including us, were not aware that room allocation and entry codes would be sent to them via SMS or email. This caused some confusion and distress on arrival. These procedures need to be explained more carefully on the website.

The room was spacious and well equipped. Cooking facilities were provided. The location was excellent, close to Ghent’s major attractions.

The apartment was quite narrow, there was only about 30cm between the end of the beds and the wall. This meant that you had climb across one bed to get to the other to avoid knocking the TV off the wall.

The toilet had a bad smell.. it was clean, but the pipes might need a deeper clean, as the scent is not pleasant every time you're in there. The towels also had a bad scent (more like a humid scent). They too need a deep clean. I brought my own towel, so that wasn't an issue.

The room is spacious and has everything you need for a short (medium length) stay especially kitchen appliances. The bed is very comfy, and very clean. The sheets/pillows didn't smell of anything. The location is great, as it is in the middle of the city center and everything is super accessible. There is a bus that takes you from the train station right to the hotel.

Didn't see anyone on reception the 3 days I was there not a problem for me as my issues where resolved over the phone via email or messaging on booking.com

Nothing, everything was good.

The room had everything you needed and was as described. It was quiet and comfortable. Location was great and a short walk to main attractions and tram stops. Great stay, would stay again.

Poor sound insulation, we were getting a lot of noise form the room above ours during early evening and morning ours. We could live with that but it was irritating. Room was very warm and there was no way to adjust the temperature.

Lack of cutlery and crockery in the kitchenette. It seems the hotel only thinks two of everything is enough. Some noise from the street. Most irritatingly there was no indoor handle to the front door so you had to pull it open with your fingers.

Location is good for the city centre. The room was clean and facilities were good.

The check in procedure was not very smooth. I could not open the doors with my phone and had to use my laptop.

Check in via virtual key was a hassle😱 We did not receive our virtual key through email despite several follow-ups. Later, we received a scan code without any instructions. There was no one at the reception. Luckily, there was a lady staying in the apartment who just came back helped us. Met another hotel elderly guest a day later, he also doesn't understand how the virtual key works.... System Not too friendly with seniors Email response was too slow......😩

Rooms in third floor were very hot, even with central heating off. No AC available to lower the temperature.

Location was great, very central. Functioning lift, iron and ironing board available on request. Best thing was the super friendly and helpful staff. Borja was especially helpful when it came to organising a late checkout.

More of hostel-type of accomodation, self-service check-in & check-out. I had some problems with check-out, called the phone number, as I couldn’t find anyone at the reception over the course of 3 days, but they helped me out and everything worked out in the end, so all good.

Great location - 1 min from tram stop which goes to the train station, right in the center, near canals, everything including groceries in walking distance. Clean rooms, well equipped.

There is quite a big step in the middle of the room, to get to bed from the rest of the room. An inconvenience for someone with mobility issues. We would have appreciated one change of towels for our 5 night stay. Check in time restriction very confusing, were not sure if we needed to get there during reception working hours even though we checked in online.

Room is big, lots of room for two people to be comfortable, with chairs and a table. There is a small kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, nespresso machine, even two hotplates. Location is central, so excellent. Bed was very comfortable.

Room 205, bed too small for 2 persons (good mattress). Noise of upper room when they move chairs and when people are in the hallway, the light stays ON in the hallway and shines through the door of the room. All the night was a sound of buoy in the city. Had a bad sleep. TV was still not working after we noticed the reception.
