The hotel is very pretty and perfectly located, just a short walk from the station and right at the end of the historic town centre. I took a moonlit stroll into the old town when it was devoid of tourists and it was so serene and lovely that the spontaneous evening stroll became one of the best experiences of my trip. The evening meal I purchased was excellent. The staff were accommodating and courteous. I would thoroughly recommend this quaint hotel.

Room was clean, but basic for the price and there was a mosquito problem.

Great location in cosy old building on the edge of the old town, close to the train station. Limited free parking available for guests. Restaurant food and service were superb, even exceptional.

The pillowsheets could look a bit cleaner. Its probably washed but there were still yellow dirts on it. I had to cover the pillow with a t-shirt to sleep on it.

The hotel is in a very good location. It was clean. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Even though there was a misunderstanding about the breakfast time, they prepared breakfast for us immediately. Highly recomended !

The hotel looked run-down in the online photos, and it was, but at least they represented themselves accurately, so I knew what to expect I got there. No elevator, so you have to haul luggage up the stairs behind the restaurant's bar.

I picked this hotel primarily for the location, near the train station and the docks where I was meeting a boat the next day. It was perfect for that, and easy walking distance to all the shops and sights in the heart of the city.

No elevator, but it is common for hotels in Belgium.

Location. Very near the train station and not far from the centre. Quietness. We stayed on Monday and Tuesday on the days when the restaurant is closed so it was a plus. We also couldn't hear the neighbors next door when they were watching tv. Although we lived in a room with shared bathroom it seemed unoccupied most of the time. Breakfast was simple and nice. Also with candles and soft music on background it felt very homely.

the rooms were not cleaned. we had blood all over our bedding- duvet, mattress and pillows. we were offered another room at midnight which did not have a toilet so we had to get dressed each time we had to pee and it was very dusty. also, they do not provide even soap in the shower. only hand soap by the sinks. while the owners were nice, the woman serving tables obviously doesn’t enjoy her job or dealing with customers. she’s quite rude and without charm of any sort.

The quilt is a uncomfortable quite noisy you could hear ppl walking around and made noisy that was before 11pm.

The restaurant below the accommodation was gorgeously decorated and the room upstairs was clean and well maintained. The staff were lovely, everyone was kind. The accommodation was only a short walk from the city centre.

We woke up with dozens of mosquito bites. 23 on my right arm alone, and i had them all over. We also killed dozens of blood filled mosquitoes. I think i got more bites there than i had gotten in my whole life combined.

I loved everything!

I loved absolutely everything! the staff is super friendly and I was given recommendations about the city. The bedroom was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was included and it was delicious! I totally recommend this place <3
