There really is nothing to dislike about this property. The staircase is a little steep so could be a problem for less abled people.

I organised a stay here for my sister’s 40th, with her husband. It was such a warm welcome. Outstanding. Cleanliness. The amazing breakfast basket both days was so appreciated. The fridge full of beautiful food and the place was so cosy. When we got there, we were recommended places to eat and highlighted all different places to visit, which really helped. When we were leaving, we could leave our bags to collect later on and ordered us a taxi - Hostess with mostess. Thank you!

The breakfast was prepared with care, fresh bread arrived every morning and the fridge was well stocked with a variety of cheese, home made marmelade and meat, We enjoyed the privacy of the accommodation and with the whole of Brugge within walking distance we had a great time.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at B&B Herrings Residence during my trip to Bruges, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. First and foremost, the location of the B&B is absolutely perfect. Tucked away in a quiet street, it offers a peaceful retreat from the bustling city center, while still being conveniently close to all the main attractions. Exploring Bruges from this charming B&B was an absolute delight! The settings of the B&B are truly enchanting. The apartment is tastefully designed that strike the perfect balance between modern comfort and traditional charm. There was always a sense of tranquility and serenity that made my stay truly unforgettable. Maryke the owner has decorated this place with a lots of love, heart and care.

Maryke was outstanding! everything from the check-in process (where she shows you around, explains how everything works and give local tips), the breakfast (variety of fresh breads, home made jelly, charcuterie), the house (super clean, extremely well decorated), the bed (super comfortable and big, the bathroom (super hot water), and the check-out process (very streamlined) were AMAZING! I couldn't be happier with my experience! Thx so much Maryke!

The Herring’s Residence has so much going for it. On top of the great location and wonderful accommodations, the proprietor is a very gracious host. She delivers fresh bread & pastries each morning to you, along with fresh squeezed juice and fresh fruit. Upon arrival, the refrigerator was stocked with other goods for breakfast— multiple cheeses and meats, water, milk, butter & eggs. Also, parking included. I highly recommend and look forward to our next visit.

Decorated to very high spec! Fresh breakfast delivered was fabulous, fresh bread, pastries, ham, cheeses, eggs, yoghurt, the works! Location was ideal, 3-5 minute walk to the canal and local sites. Hostess couldn't have been more accommodating!

We can't fault it at all.

Superb all round. Absolutely beautiful, immaculately clean, extremely comfortable, tastefully decorated cottage that is both an oasis of peaceful privacy and right in the heart of the city. The hosts are really lovely, so welcoming, Maryke couldn't do enough to ensure our comfort and offered recommendations of places to visit etc. The breakfast was wonderful, we have never had anything like it, we looked forward to it every day, Maryke knows some excellent bakeries! There's also secure car parking should you need it. It's a cross between a self-catering cottage and luxury B&B. It's just the perfect place to stay if you want the calm and comfort of a cosy cottage with an incredible city centre location.

Maryke was a perfect host, the facilities were just like home, extremely comfortable and stylish living, great location, quiet and away from the daily crowds. Close to all of the main areas of Brugge.

There was absolutely nothing we didn't like. It may be useful though to contact guests ahead of time to tell them how to find the cottage as it is set back from the street. It would probably also be useful to know that the stairs in the house may make it unsuitable for people with mobility issues.

The accommodation was amazing. I had not expected such a lovely little house. Tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable. The breakfast provided, fresh every morning was delicious and a real treat. 😋 We contacted the owner of the residence to make her aware of particular dietary requirements and she went out of her way to accommodate them. We had a wonderful time and would not hesitate to recommend.

we had a wonderful stay at this B&B. It’s center located and the house is well designed, very beautiful! we liked also the decoration in the house a lot, very inspiring but also cosy. The breakfast is the best we ever had, thanks to the host we can try every day something different, and it was so delicious. we appreciate the efforts !! hope one day we can come back.

Marjka is an exceptional host. The refrigerator was well stocked with bacon, eggs, cheeses, yogurt and much more. Marijka brought fresh fruit and bread each morning. Amazing house and decor.

Great quite location near to the city market and de Halve Maan brouwerij :-). Nicely arranged and clean small house with three floors. Very friendly owner Lady, respectful to the guests privacy. We've got also nice recommendations for best spots for dinner with local kitchen and out of tourists crowd. Breakfast basket waiting at morning in small patio full of fresh brugse bagels, croissants and fresh juice. Bikers can store bikes safely in small garden cabinet. WLAN available. SIMPLY PERFECT. Thanks to the host. We hope we can come back once again.

The B&B is in walking distance to all highlights but still in a very quiet and peaceful area. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious, clean and tidy. The highlight of every morning is the excellent breakfast.
