Bathroom has some mold here and there. And matresses seem a bit old. But after a long day nothing to worry about.

As soon as we entered the room, we immediately noticed a strong odor coming from the bathroom, possibly from the drains of the sinks or toilet. Unfortunately, the odor was quite bothersome. Furthermore, the day after, when we returned to the hotel after a walk, our room had been tidied up, but they used bleach to clean the bathroom (and the windows closed), making the smell even stronger. Apart from this, there were no other issues, although I would suggest the establishment to put a warning on the stairs to watch out for your head while going down.

Very characteristic hotel, with helpful and welcoming staff. Abundant and excellent breakfast in the restaurant located on the lower floor of the hotel, where you can also have dinner (I recommend trying it!). Located near a square with several restaurants and shops, about a 30-minute walk from the mines. The room is spacious enough (there is no elevator)."

Although I loved this hotel don't book if you are expecting modern high tech.

The hostess was excellent, made us feel wanted and at home straight away. Served good local beer and an excellent steak. A very warm and friendly atmosphere, if in a quaint nostalgic way. Well worth using as a base to explore the local area.

We were undertaking a cycling tour through Europe, this hotel was on our route. The staff at the hotel were so friendly and allowed us to leave the bikes in a secure location within the hotel and even worked out power so we could charge the bikes too.

The rooms are above the restaurant and there was laughing, singing and shouting and loud talking the went on till about 12.30am. Not much fun if you are trying to sleep after a 75 mile bike ride to the place. Also, we had arranged to have breakfast at 7.30am, agreed by one of the staff but the owner wouldn’t serve it will 8am which delayed out leaving time as we were riding 75miles to Netherlands.

The hotel owner was very good and helpful.

Our only criticism was the sewage smell coming from the bathroom. as the bathroom so close to the bed with only a sliding door the smell did come into the room. Which is a shame as other than that the room was quaint and perfect for an overnight stay.

The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was brilliant- everything you could want The location was right by the main square so few minutes walk from restaurants and cafes.

we moved the beds to sleep a bit farer from each other and we found like mountains of dust under the beds.

The location is right in the city centre, the main square is easy to reach, the staff is absolutely friendly and speaks great english! The breackfast was amazing with a very good sortiment of sweet and salty.

The room was okay. Beds were of slightly lesser quality. Breakfast was very tasty.

The wifi in our room (room 23) was very bad, unfortunately. The two twin beds pushed into one also weren’t very comfortable to sleep in as a couple. I would’ve loved to upgrade to the room we had before (room 22), but unfortunately this wasn’t possible this time.

We have stayed at this unique little hotel several times on our return to UK from Austria. It is very comfortable with the most amazing restaurant. The host makes us feel so welcone.
