Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Czech RepublicThe location of the hotel is still near the city centre and yet the surrounding area felt very trashed - trash bags everywhere, graffiti, and just general lack of cleanliness. That is as we saw quite common outside the main touristic places in Brussels, but still. As a woman you wouldn't feel comfortable walking from the city centre back to the hotel. The price. Everything in Belgium is expensive..so compared to their standards it might not be that expensive, but it is no matter how much you choose to close your eyes. No fridge on the room. Not possible to open window fully, only ventilation.
Overall, the hotel is very very nice - clean and decorated nicely. In the room we didn't hear other guests almost at all. The room was clean and very nice. There was a small coffee maker (ours didn't like making coffee and just created little "something" in the cup, but maybe we did something wrong) and we got tiny chocolates on the bed. If you don't mind walking, you can easily walk to the city centre and train station nearby. Every day the room was made and towels were replaced. Room had AC. Buffet breakfast for 16€ per person, delicious scrambled eggs and croissants. Personnel speaking English and being very kind and helpful.

AustraliaNothing really. The only thing is that my room was a little dark as it was facing some walls but I had been warned prior to my stay so it wasn’t a big deal. Also I didn’t spend much time in the room so not an issue at all.
Everything. The atmosphere is really nice, the location is convenient from Brussels Midi train station. The room was very comfortable and clean. Staff were really nice and the breakfast was amazing.

United KingdomLovely comfortable hotel in a really good location for arriving on the Eurostar. Less than 10 minutes walk from the station, making it an ideal hotel if you are going to travel to Bruges on the train. Easy to access public transport from the stop across the road and about a 15-20 minute walk to the tourist areas. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Staff were all friendly.

Kosovo- I requested a double bed size room, however they do not guarantee you will get the double or single bed sizes until you arrive, which was stressful when having a cosleeping baby with me - they do not provide coffee capsules after forst day for the coffee machine, but you have to buy them. Considering that the place is not cheap for the location, they could do this much to improve experience

TaiwanNo wifi in the room!!! No kettle. The shower splashes out to the bathroom floor. Sound proof is really bad, if anyone walk or drag their luggage above you it is very loud. Got woken up couple of times. Only provide the first day coffee capsules. Bed is quite soft.
The room is spacious. Decoration looks exactly like the picture. Staff are friendly. Common area is nice. Provides body lotion. Shower water pressure is great.

The location was only 8 minutes walk from Brussels Midi station (just a bit awkward around all the roadworks). The front door of Urban Yard isn’t obvious, but stepping inside is to arrive in an oasis. The decor is calm, the staff friendly and helpful and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable.
