How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The pool was not clean, so we asked to get it clean. as well as we had to ask for fire grill since it says in the description it is existed. the pool area is dark at night, so an upgrade of the lighting would be great.
The villa was fully furnished and equipped. spacious living room and master room. Very quit place with good privacy and private pool.

The yard and pool weren’t really clean and there was lots of FLIES inside of the villa.

As we entered inside the villa, we were greeted by so many flies in the entire villa, even in the bedrooms. It was literally like a fish market. We spent almost an hour chasing and killing them.
The staffs are very friendly & accommodating especially Nadia. The villa is huge and perfect for a family. A great getaway from a hustle & bustle in the city.

Needs renovation to be top notch, especially electricity, wooden doors, and AC, they are all outdated. We could not use hairdryer and charge our phones for fear of circuit overload (which actually happened). The carpet was old and dusty, the furniture was new and good but smelled dusty which needs a bit focused cleaning. The pool was cold, filter was not running, called maintenance many times, they cleaned it but still same problem. A bit slow with check in and check out process .. had an issue with deposit return but solved after talking to manager.
It is very spacious, beds are comfy and clean, toilets are also clean, in the middle of the city close to the main road, staff friendly, large smart TV. Full kitchen with essential utensils. Though cabins close to each other, with kids as well, u can barely hear a thing inside (great sound proofing).

Needs more items in the kitchen like bbq tongs, meat casarol dish, oven dish, tin opener, bottle opener, oven gloves, dish rack, dish cloths and cushions on outdoor furniture would be nice

More coffee sachets and more coffee cups in the property would be great
During our stay we really liked that: Staff left water bottles in the property every day They were quick to help if we needed anything Communication was really easy through WhatsApp AC in property Ishtham was very helpful during our stay, he made sure the property was clean

The swimming pool was not functional during our stay. The AC settings in the apartment were a little complex so the bedrooms were slightly warm (but minor).
Location was good. 15 minutes into city (without traffic) and secluded. The apartments were clean and well kept during the week. The housekeeping team accommodated almost all of our requests. The kids play area was also well kept and great for my toddler.

Not dislikes, just observations: BBQ was available for an additional charge (perhaps include?). Kitchen didn't have any mugs. Washing machine would be useful for longer stays.
The villa was spacious and spotlessly clean. The beds were really comfortable. The staff could not have been more helpful or attentive. They sent us a WhatsApp every day to make sure we were happy and to advise us of cleaning times. Whenever we made a request it was actioned immediately. Even a 'strange' request for a particular power supply cable was covered- one of the staff loaned it to us!

Needs to be renovated with modern materials. Needs to be spraid regularily for insects. No land line in villa. Could not call receprion. More green areas need to be planted around the villas.

The Internet is very slow and it's not working properly which made the TV also not working as it depends on the Internet with no cable TV or satellite system
I really liked the set-up and the villa I had the one with the swimming pool, yes the swimming pool was small and the water is cold but I guess it will be nicer in summer, the facility is recently refurbished and everything is new I recommend 👌
