United KingdomCome prepared with (eco) insect repellent, but when I asked for some, the staff was helpful and kind enough to get me a spray. And there is a net in the room. The only thing is that the menu could do with a couple more options, but also local dishes would be great. And vegetarian options too please. Cleanliness is overall Good, it's just the finishing touches that will help go a long way. Environmentally speaking, it would be great to see the management make an effort on reducing single plastic use. I would recommend Awale to my friends and family for sure though.
Very good, tranquil settings. Lots of greenery and relatively peaceful. The sea is within walking distance and you can hear the waves at night, its very lush. Plus if you enjoy nature, you will have plenty to do, especially bird watching. The room (bungalow) itself was comfortable enough, and the A.C. was working very well which helps when it gets too hot :) The staff were very helpful and professional. They even concocted a non alcoholic cocktail for my mum :) I enjoyed my stay and will come again :)

United KingdomSadly wifi only works near the reception which is a bummer. The food is tasty but very overpriced, I would head down to the canteens a few min walk away. The property definitely needs some investment as my door would not always lock.
Got an upgrade into the bunglow because my room was not in service which was great. Great beach, comfortable bed and room. Got hot water too! The staff were super helpful, and the beach is right in front of you so big plus!

NorwaySuperb beach resort in the best coastal area of Benin. I felt welcome there: the service was impeccable, polite and professional. Celine and Antoinine did a great job to feed me and made sure I was not too thirsty. Unfortunately, I was there on the job and I could not enjoy the place as much as I wanted. But, again, there was nothing better than to arrive tired and sweaty and take the swimming short and jump into the ocean for an evening swim! The rooms were nice, very functional and everything worked well.

BelgiumWe first had a dysfonctionnal shower head from which just a tickle of water was pouring off in the cheapest room for couple (room 10: bungalow with view on the garden) .This room had a mosquito nest which was dirty and sticky. Then we asked for a room exchange, which was overpriced compare to what was provided on booking. It is only after negotiations that we concluded on the price of booking (not the one of the hotel which was 1.5 time higher). At the end we got the VIP room room 22, which was way better than the bungalow room 10, but sadly did not have all the amenities functioning well : one of the sink faucet in the shower was out of order and only 1 out of 4 lights in the shower room was working.
The hotel is located just in front of the sea side. You just have to cross the hotel complex to reach the beach. The staff of the hotel is polite, available and kind. They were helpful and attentive. The pool is great with a lifeguard available for you at any time during opening hours. The covered terrace on stilts just in front of the sea is a gem! They also have play ground set up for pétanque and volley ball.
