The mattress in the bedroom was not very comfortable. We were also disappointed that the pool was drained, but Brenda said the pump had broken and she was having trouble getting a new one.

We loved the location and the hostess, Brenda. She was very welcoming and sweet and did her best to make our stay comfortable. It was a very homey atmosphere and we loved it! There were a convenience store and restaurant just down the street and the famed Horseshoe Bay was a 5-minute bus ride away, with bus stops in both directions right on the street in front of the house.

The property can use some minor updating. The walls are very thin. You can hear your neighbor. The water pressure for the shower is not as strong.

The location of the property is safe. There is a gas station (Food Court inside the gas station) that was across the street. Which made it convenience for me to grab water, basic necessity, alcohols, snacks and food. There is a nice Restaurant that is only a 2 minutes walk from the property. There is a beautiful beach that can be access by walking through the gas station. (Find the stairs that will lead you down to the beach).

Pool didn't look too appealing, did not make use of that

Great value. Apartments are huge. They provided a beach bag with towels and you could take an umbrella Tip: make sure you have a way to get around the island - get bus tokens (or coins in local currency) or rent a scooter.

The location is perfect. Bus stops are close by. There is a gas station with a store. Marley beach is only 10 minutes away walking. Brenda was very helpful when I needed and very friendly

The swimmingpool of the guesthouse has been being painted during my stay, therefore it has not been possible to use it for going swimming in May 2022.

Blue Horizons Guesthouse - near one of the many impressing nature beaches (Southshore) of Bermuda - is situated a little bit up a hill so that you are able to enjoy a very good view of the marvelous landscape all around including the sea; further you are able to reach the bus-stop by foot easily ( about 2 min. ) and also a supermarket offering different excellent meals for the daily take-away, too at the gas-station ( just 3 min. to go by foot ). Above all, Brenda, the owner of the guesthouse, has been caring a lot that her guests would be content and I was feeling very good ... and like "at home" there during my stay.

Cable tv didn't work. Doors need repair, it's still affected by storm damage. Not easy to reach help during off hours. No room service and few restaurant options.

The hostess was amazing, gracious and helpful. Public transportation was convenient to access and got you to anywhere you wished to go. Ocean view was spectacular!

Some items were a bit dated but still in good condition.

Good location, near the beach and a bus stop. Room has all the essentials. Brenda was always helpful and dealt with any problems I had.

There is much disrepair and dangerous fittings. Doors do not close properly and maintenance is much required.

The property is in a good location and Brenda, the owner is kind and hardworking. There is no shortage of kitchen equipment.

Great location if you are looking to enjoy the beach. Easy access to the bus station and a 10 minute taxi ride to town. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the host was super friendly and accommodating!

Excellent place to stay, especially if you're looking for a something simple, centralized, and on a budget. The owner Brenda was so nice to us. She was very accessible, friendly, and helpful with suggestions of things to do. Location is nice too because it's about the same travel time to each end of the island from there.

About a three minute walk to Marley Beach, which was practically empty for the majority of the morning when we went. About a ten minute bus ride to Horseshoe Bay.

This review has been hidden because it doesn't meet our guidelines.

The hostess of the property met me right when I arrived. She showed me the room and informed me all that I needed for the stay. I was surprised that most days the room was reset/made up while I was out for work. I had a much-better-than-expected sleep each night; a very comfortable bed and room. The property is right on the Bus 7 line which goes to downtown Hamilton. It's about a 15 minute ride. Very convenient for going to and from the city. There are not many businesses right within walking distance (two restaurants and a gas station), so it was convenient to shop for groceries, etc. in Hamilton and use the mini-fridge and microwave.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. If I had to pick something, I would say the water pressure in the shower isn't what I'm used to, but I still had no problem washing up ok.

Brenda was the best hostess! She met me as I arrived, showed me around the property and the apartment, gave me lots of great information about how to get around in Bermuda and she was so friendly, courteous and helpful! I will definitely be renting from Brenda again in the future!
