We could have used blackout curtains in the room -- the building next door had a motion-detecting outdoor light that was visible despite the closed drapes.

We were delightfully surprised by our last-minute accommodation at the Oxford House. We unexpectedly had to stay another night in Bermuda (oh darn, right?) and the staff could not have been more welcoming, and the bed extremely comfortable. We appreciated the cozy conditions and assistance from staff throughout.

Only criticism is that the mattress in my.roo. was far to firm for.me to be and also my guest. I'm 17 wks pregnant and I barely got any sleep. Nor did my guest get much sleep as we was both tossing and turning all night.

Liked everything especially the light continental breakfast. The brand of coffee you have at your qlguest house was simply divine.

The property is very old, very small bathroom, ants all over the bathroom. The breakfast is cheap supermarket baked goods, and fruit options are apple or orange but actually is tiny apples and mandarines. :-)

No pool and not close to the beach but you know this clearly before booking and this is fine during the winter or cooler months.

Great people working there! Good wifi and breakfast. Very clean and comfortable. Microwave and coffee and water in the room. Pharmacy convenience store across the street. Extremely convenient location close to main front street, bus terminal, and ferry terminal. Perfect if you want a personal vibe that is more comfortable than a giant resort and more convenient than a remote rental/ BnB.

The two things I thought were unsatisfactory were the continental breakfast and the cost of the room. The breakfast was not sufficient and we ended up needing to buy food after checking out just to compensate for the small portion size. Secondly, the cost of the room was equivalent to a hotel room. As the Oxford house is not a hotel then the price should not be on par with hotels. If there is a local rate then we did not know about this and if there is not a local rate then one should be introduced. The cost of living in Bermuda is extremely high (This is not your fault) however with all of the taxes added to our room, it would have been appreciated if the total cost was included before making the booking.

We stayed at Oxford House for one night which was our anniversary. The check-in process was prompt and our room was clean and comfortable. The complimentary wine and snacks were a welcome addition to our booking. The longer stay in the room was greatly appreciated!

It’s a beautiful colonial villa, from the decor to the staff!!! Beautiful location in the center of Hamilton, I rented also an electric car near by(2 minutes walking). Nice breakfast and also a nice aperitivo( a nice selection of cheeses and wines).

Location was perfect, staff were very attentive and the small details like the happy hour wine, complementary bottled water, Moultin Brown bathroom products and extra comfy beds made it so luxurious. This place is spotless and well manicured inside and out. We even had a free parking spot in the driveway to charge our electric car.

The only complaint that I have is that the bed has a very thick comforter that makes it very warm at night unless you keep the room very cold. That makes the room too cold during your awake time. The only other option is to remove the comforter which leaves you with only a sheet for warmth. A light blanket would be nice.

The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. This facility is in an ideal location, near everything yet very quiet.
