Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Great location with 5-10minute walk to Front St. Employees made sure our stay was great. They are very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable about area. The hotel has a great ambience.

Enjoyed the complete atmosphere. Very relaxing. Very friendly and helpful staff. The handy shuttle to the town. Excellent daily breakfast. Enjoyed daily happy hour which helped to meet other guests. Sitting around the beautiful garden.

All the team were incredibly friendly. The suite was spotless and comfortable with everything we needed. The super king size bed was very, very comfortable. My Husband slept better than he does at home. The air conditioning worked well. The pool was lovely and warm and never busy, we were there on our own most of the time. Everywhere on the islands is a short taxi, or ferry ride away. Often the hotel gave us a lift into the centre of Hamilton as we have mobility challenges, but it’s an easy walk for anyone with good mobility. There were no biting insects at all, not even any flies or wasps and no sign of any mosquitoes. The food at Ascots is some of the best on the island.

United StatesSome of the specialty items at breakfast ran out if you did not get up early enough. It would be helpful if the hotel could organize a daily shuttle to one the many beaches on the island as transportation on Bermuda is a challenge. One of the closest beaches was Marley Beach – did you visit it? Don't why this a booking.com question but if it was close by, the staff did not inform us about this option.
Breakfast was very good. Gardens were beautiful. Room and amenities (fresh beach towels every day!) were top notch. Enjoyed the complimentary ebikes and wine hour.

United StatesThe coffee was delicious. Lots of choices for breakfast. The staff was extremely helpful. Everyone was friendly and willing to assist with whatever we needed to make our trip successful. For example: we borrowed the e-bikes and they gave instructions and directions to ensure our safety. On arrival, the reception had our flight info and greeted us at the door by name. The front desk made sure we had a taxi set up for our departure. We enjoyed the Ascots Restaurant. The food and drinks were delicious! The beauty of a small hotel is the personal touches that the customer receives. We will definitely be back. Thank you! We had a great time.
