- the airport transfer that was organized via the accommodation arrived at the specified time in the morning, but was very expensive (100 BOB vs. 70 BOB from a normal taxi or 50 BOB with an Uber) and the driver was driving like crazy - room (and especially bathroom) could use some renovation

+ clean rooms with a big bed joined together from two single beds + hotel staff in the morning at check-in was friendly + very good restaurant in the courtyard of the hotel with excellent crepes and friendly owners (but a bit expensive as well) + location was fine

Noise from the street can be a little loud at night. It’s not busy but cars come driving right next to the window.

It's the best hotel I've visited in South America. Excellent breakfast with local fresh fruits, juices, fresh bread, eggs, and more. Señora Rossa went to the local market to help me buy clothes, arranged drivers for us, and generally assisted with local recommendations. The hotel itself is beautiful, such as the rooms.

The bathroom was quite small compared to the size of the room. There could be a trash bin in the room.

The ladies running the place were very friendly and helpful. That alone made a good experience. We got a big room with a huge bed. It was all very nice and pleasant. The breakfast was lovely, got eggs to our taste every morning. Ah! Good location in Sopocachi, we felt safe even at night.

There was no ventilation or openable window in the bathroom or the bedroom so we had to open the door when we wanted to freshen up the air. The bedroom door looked onto a corridor by the courtyard but the door had a large panel of opaque glass that let in light. This meant I either woke up at sunrise or wore an eye mask.

Peaceful space in busy La Paz. Well located for Sopocachi. Breakfast was lovely. The staff were excellent and we had a very nice stay.

Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. Room with tea and coffee available all the time. Good breakfast and comfortable rooms each with individual character. We stayed here three times during our travels in the La Paz area and received a great welcome every time.

Anami is a lovely hotel in a great location. We had a large double with bath that was very nice and clean and bright and had a heater. The staff were very nice and helpful and gave us a take away breakfast when we had to leave early to catch the bus. The location is great with lots of restaurants nearby.

The only complaint is that we heard traffic noise from the street. It gets better after 10PM, but if you want to sleep earlier it could be a problem for a person with sleeping issues.

Extremely nice and helpful staff. Although we've arrived at 6am, they managed to do the checkin. On top of that, the interior is super-cosy and beautiful full of antiques. You can basically find yourself in the 60s Bolivian countryside hacienda even though you are in the city centre. The location of the hotel is also good surrounded with many restaurants and café.

They kindly let me drop my bag off before I travelled to Uyuni for a 2 day salt flat tour. I then arrived back to the hotel at 8am and a room was ready for me by 10am, when they normally aren't ready until 1pm. The receptionist was so lovely. The room was very big and the bed was really comfortable. There's a lovely pizza restaurant opposite which opens until quite late. I left at 4:30am in the morning and the receptionist made sure that I got into the taxi and waved me goodbye. Overall this is a fantastic hotel which has a real family feel. It was also nice not to be directly in the centre of La Paz but it only cost approx £2 for a taxi into the centre.

Soundproofing could be improved, we could hear the TV from next door. Also felt like the bathroom needed some upgrading, the shower door was often stuck and difficult to open/close, there was rust in the shower head too and the wall paint was starting to peel off.

Room was spacious with lots of storage space and a living space to sit and read etc. Breakfast was great - there were tea/coffee, juice, bread, yogurt, and a choice of eggs. Staff were friendly and spoke some English which was always a plus. The space outside the cafe to sit and enjoy a cup of tea was really lovely.

I can't Rate Anami highly enough. the staff were amazing so nice and helpfull. the room was big and spotless. hot showers, towels provided, tasty breakfast & free tea/ coffee constantly. Nice location, walking distance to restaurants as well as the San Pedro Plaza. Beds were so comfortable. felt like luxury.

Unique vintage hotel. The staff spoke enough english to communicate most things Rose was a delight, they where able to do our laundry for us. Close to the tram land restaurant areas

I stayed in room#1 which was street facing. So there was street noise.

It has character. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Few blocks from Sopacachi yellow teleferico station. Lots of restaurants & shops nearby. About 30 min walk to Centro.

Nice location for the Sopocachi area with it's bars and restaurants. The walk to the other tourist locations is not too far. Staff very welcoming.
