How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The property is close to yellow teleferic, so it was very easy to know the city. The room was very clean, the food is great and the staff too.

Every barrio in La Paz has its own charm, but if you are tired of the touristic centre of the city this is an excellent choice. It is a delightful small hotel in Sopocachi, very close to the teleferico station. Breakfast is great and all the staff in the reception and restaurant is competent and profesional.

I don’t have anything to say here, everything was great!
This is a very cute hotel in a great location. The staff were so friendly, even letting us check in incredibly early after an all night bus, and provided a great stay. The food was great and the room was comfortable as well. Would definitely recommend staying here.

It's just 30 seconds' walk to the cable car station. Besides, the hotel prepared breakfast for our early departure.

Cute little hotel with very friendly staff. We arrived very late and had to leave early on departure day but the staff was really flexible and nice about it, even prepared us a breakfast bag! The location is also very convenient close to the yellow gondola

Great staff, great coffee and delicious brownies! The breakfast was good and the rooms are good enough. They let us keep our bags there while we went to the salt flats and super close to the yellow line, highly recommend going on the cable cars incredible views of the city

Some of the property needs a lick of paint and a new carpet on entry
The property had a nice family feel and a bakery which is great for cake and breakfast the young man who looks after the night shift was incredibly helpful, communicated well in English and even ordered pizza for us after a long day mountain biking the death road. The hotel is situated right next to the teleférico which is very useful and fun to travel on

We stayed here for a week. The staff were extremely kind and hospitable. The breakfasts were great, the rooms were comfortable and they made our stay in La Paz great!

The only thing preventing me giving 10 was the quality of the towels - old, threadbare and needing replacing.
Very friendly staff, big room (33), good shower with reliable hot water, comfy bed, eggcellent breakfast ( although you have to order online with a time the night before). And only 100m to teleférico!

Only staircases. Room a bit small and with no window.
Nice location, very close to one of the cable car station of the yellow line. The staffs are super helpful, my overnight bus arrived La Paz at 06:00 and they let me check in to take a rest in the room.

The bakery is so good that it is hard to resist eating a cake or two every day. 🤣🤣
We stayed one week. Excellent location next to the Sopacachi cable car station. The staff are very friendly. The breakfast is extensive and filling. The bakery attached to the hotel is one of the best. Room was spacious with hot shower.

Placement. The great advantage is that is near yellow line funicular station. However some of taxi drivers don’t even know the neighbourhoods.
Perfect! Very well balanced, with protein, carbo, healthy choices and in good amounts!

The hotel is in a great location, less than 2 min walk from Sopacachi Teleferico station. The staff is super helpful and friendly. I really liked breakfast, the papaya was so tasty, the eggs were freshly made and the coffee was freshly brewed. The room was clean, and had all that you needed.

The room was cold and draughty. The shower didn’t work properly and rarely any hot water came out… nothing more than a spray ! The floorboards were massively squeaky
Immediately I could tell that this is a nicer area than where I had stayed before. Streets were cleaner and just looked more modern. Also lots of places to eat nearby. The hotel is also next to the yellow cable car. It’s quite a distance from the tourist but really it’s just a few cable cars away and costs 7 BS. The staff were helpful arranging taxi etc for me to bus station. There is an amazing cake shop next door. The breakfast was delicious.
