It would be better if the shower have the sign for hot and cold water. Sometimes the tv turn on and couldn't turn it off.

The staff there is very nice and helpful. They always help you with the information that you need and some advice. The room was clean and very valuable for the price. High recommendation.

The pods aren't actually soundproof as I discovered so you cannot be taking personal calls, playing videos etc in these without disturbing others in the room - the doors have slight gaps which I feel defeats the point a bit. The bathrooms need soap.

First time trying a pod hostel and really liked them, really feels like you have your own space - plugs, TV, headphones, everything you need and can keep things outside in lockers. The pods close manually so you don't feel claustrophobic. Wifi worked fine. Breakfast included all for $7 with booking discount is insane value for money.

Read the comments about the noise from the disco next door. While it's true you hear the music from the lobby, it is very mild from the room/capsule and didn't prevent me to sleep properly. Ended up extending my stay my a few more days!

Great experience at the Capsule hostel. First time and would totally recommend: great staff, location, clean, comfortable... I usually don't stay or sleep well in a 12-people dorm but with the capsules: no issue. Also had a comfy 2 hours nap on an afternoon, which is hard in conventional dorms (noise, light...). Breakfast is above average too.

Bathrooms missing facilities but staff replaced them when told!

Really great hostel if you have an early morning arrival to La Paz and desperately need a bed before the standard 1-2pm check in, if there is availability you pay a little extra to check in early (you can also pay for late checkout too) but you get your own pod of privacy. They also have a short nap offer so is a good pitstop. They also give you free breakfast so highly recommend for backpackers on the go. Lady on the front desk spoke excellent english and is very friendly and helpful, always smiling. Other staff helpful too!. Respectfully quiet and not very social place.

even though the bathrooms were cleaned daily, due to the amount of people in the room it was still a bit clumsy. the capsules could also be cleaned a bit more often.

staff was great, always ready to answer any and all questions i had. breakfast (bread, yogurt, cereal, butter, jam, coffee, a selection of tea and cocoa, banana and once there was pineapple juice too) included in the price, for an extra bs.5 you could also add an egg (fried or scrambled). the capsules are somewhat soundproof, inside them you can find a universal socket, two usb ports, individual ventilation system, a tv and two headphones jacks. it's super comfy, would definitely stay there again. also, there's a fully equipped kitchen if you'd rather cook than eat out (extra convenient for sundays when everything closes early). i was a bit worried about the wifi since the reviews on booking.com were a bit ambiguous, but i assure you there's nothing to worry about. the wifi never let me hanging!

Capsules are nice a cozy, aircon inside plus lights charging ports and tv. Quite sound proof, easy to take naps during the day and sleep through the night. Location of the hostel is very central but set back from main road Four blocks from wild rover if you want to party then sleep 😉

Needs to be cleaned a litle bit more to maintain total cleanliness : the edges of the sliding doors, the charging ports & light switches,

Doors enclose the beds gives you privacy. You also have your own charging port & light inside your capsule. You can leave your stuff charging without worrying about security nor having to share the charging ports with others.You can stay up late with lights on, without others being bothered by your light. It's like having your own room within a shared room. It's value for money, with good simple breakfast. Quiet common area at the dining area. Very clean kitchen w/ clean utensils, plates,cups. Someone prepares breakfast per tray & washes your dishes. Ms. Dani at the front desk is so friendly & helpful. Located in the city center, w/ lots of stires around.

I loved everything the only thing is when I tried to leave at 4am for my early flight the door was locked with chain and the staff didn’t have the key and waited for 5 mins for someone from the club to get it open , lucky my driver still waiting for me.

I arrived early from the airport at 9am and the lady at the front desk was super sweet that allows me to check in early without a charge, then I came back one day later to book with them again and I stayed there total 3 nights, the hostel is very clean and in safe convenient locations, staffs were all amazing and helpful, thanks again for all the help and early check in . I had an amazing 3 nights stay

too noisy, the disco next to it is going on all night and even closed in the room and in the capsule you can hear everything. also the place could put more effort in creating good common spaces. Nobody would ever stop and relax in such an empty and aseptic place, it's a shame because the place has got some potential. Also, the bathroom in my room was always flooded, and I read this complaint many times already, the owners could do something about it, but it looks like a bit abandoned, like they don't care, and it's a shame

the capsules are nice and cosy, you feel like you have your own room; the position is nice, on the main street, close to everything, and the price is very competitive. people at the reception and in the kitchen are very nice.

Noise from the next door disco but I could sleep with no problem using earplugs. The bathroom doesn't have a window and gives a not refreshing smell that spreads in the room. The bathroom floor is always wet probably because it doesn't have a doormat. No shampoo in the bathroom. Capsule2 Wifi network is quite spotty.

Super kind receptionists especially Dani, the most compassionate receptionist I've ever met. The capsules are quite comfortable and give privacy similar to semi-private rooms. Breakfast is good too

There is some kind of dance club either in the same building or next to it, and the music is so loud that you can hear it muffled through the walls until fairly late. However, the hostel can't control this. It wasn't so bad that we couldn't sleep, but maybe some people would be bothered.

The property is centrally located, with grocery stores and markets all around, restaurants and tourist attractions. The staff were friendly, everything is very clean and well taken care of. The rooms are spacious, the capsule beds are comfortable. The free breakfast is excellent.

There are two clubs straight outside the hostel and this might be a problem for some as loud music goes till 4:00am at times

The capsule is an awesome idea! It's clean, comfy and it even has a TV and aircon!! It's not sound proof but it gives you enough privacy that you can really detach from the outside world if you feel to. Hot shower at all times in the shared bathroom and very good location at a very good price.

The only negative is the hostel is next to a night club and they party hard every night. I had ear plugs but if you don't you will have difficulty sleeping

The capsule offered a nice private space in a dormitory setting, fitted with hooks and usb port. The staff were always very friendly, the place was clean and the breakfast was a great way to start the morning.

The female dorm needs a window or a better way to dry the bathroom that is inside this female dormitory room. The shower room was quite moldy so the room had that stuffy moldy smell: I had to change the room.

I cannot even begin to put into words how amazing all of the staff at El Prado were. Firstly, they were so kind, and after me needing to go to hospital, they were incredibly helpful with my bags, calling the hospital in Spanish and getting me taxis! They all went above and beyond and it was so appreciated!! The hostel itself is such good value for money. The beds are comfy, everything is clean and breakfast good!
