We paid a bit extra for a lake view room from booking.com but got put in a garden room. When we asked he said it was a matrimonial room.. but we saw the lake view rooms also had double beds so think they already had people in them. Disappointing as we specifically wanted that view as we never wake up on a lake! Why have it as a bookkng option if its not available? Beds were a bit uncomfortable.

The breakfast was a let-down. I think it's only there so it can be added to the description, but in reality, it's nothing. No ham and cheese, just bread and jam and some cereal, for those who like sugar for breakfast. Not my thing.

The view is what I really liked, I wish I spent more time in my room, just for that. The hot shower was great too.

The mattresses are very old and uncomfortable. The shower is one of those electric shower heads that defy logic but can be found in a lot of central and South American countries. I got minor electric shocks when I tried to touch it whilst it was on. You’ll be absolutely fine as along as you don’t touch it. The free breakfast wasn’t very good. Stale bread, jam and margarine, with fresh fruit, tea coffee and fruit juice. You can pay extra for cooked eggs but no staff were present either morning to place an order.

The location is nice. The family rooms on the 1st floor face out to the lake and have a very nice view. It’s cheap We were able to leave our luggage for a few hours after check out. It’s nice that breakfast is included.

My room was very cold (I had to wear my coat in the room one night) and the day before I was due to check out, I had someone hammering on my door at 10:27 telling me checkout was at 10:30. When I told him I wasn't leaving until the next day, he didn't apologise but just told a cleaner what I'd said and then walked off. The breakfast included in the room rate wasn't great.

Generally, the staff were friendly and polite and the price was good. My room had a great view of the lake and the it was a great size.

Nice view upon the lake (the hostel is a bit outside the center - 5-10min walk). Breakfast included with home made cereals and fruits. The matrimonial bed is big, so is the room.

Location was quite far out of town. The shower that wires coming out of it, was cold and with poor flow. Staff were absent and you had to call out for them in the hallway. Has to ask for a towel which was very old. Appreciate that it was very cheap and I didn’t check the listing well enough, as the previously booked accommodation had cancelled on me last minute , but overall I felt so uncomfortable with the hostel that I checked out about an hour after checking in.

It was really nice staying at Hostal Flor de Mi Tierra. Not far away from the center, 10 min walk max. The breakfast they served was really delicious and they even have Alpakas here. The view is incredible- we saw the most beautiful sunsets ever! Highly recommend!!

this was the best stay ever!! the animals are so so cute!! they have 3 lamas, 2 dogs, a baby cat and 3 pigs. one of the lamas is fine hanging out with you! recommend this place a lot just to chill on the field with the lama and dogs. the owners are super sweet as well and it’s nice to be a bit outside of the center but still close :) 🍀🌸💞🌷🐥🐈🌞

I understand this is "supposed" to be a cheap stay (although you can find similar and cleaner options for one fourth of the price - closer to the city centre). However, the beds were unbereably uncomfortable and wabbly, the sheets smelled dirty and the blanket was dusty (it triggered my long gone dust mites allergies). Moreover, no towels were provided and the Wifi wasn't working properly. Last but not least, they didn't take cards...
