It was just a human mistake. Staff didn't remember i paid on arrival for my room and already paid for a water and tried to charge me again at check out - just suggest better notes for their records for next time.

Great views, comfortable room, great facilities, excellent breakfast, staff were attentive and helpful. An excellent place to stay - I highly recommend.

The rooms can get very cold. Water in taps is icy cold, especially in the mornings. No window on kitchen door so it’s too cold at night to cook dinner (it’s ok though because the restaurants in town are €2-€3). People upstairs can make a huge amount of noise walking around because of the floorboards.

Stunning views of the lake, short walk to town, nice breakfast of pancakes, eggs, avocado, ham, bread & coffee. Decoration is colourful & it’s very peaceful. Staff are always helpful with our questions. The kitchen has plenty of items to cook. Hot water in the evenings & the bed is large & comfortable. Heater in the room for the cold nights.

The location is a 25 minute walk out of town - all uphill. The accommodation is also up some steps, there is no lift as the rooms are all external to the property.

The view from my terrace across Lake Titicaca was amazing and the sunsets beautiful. There's a wonderful terrace with tables, chairs and hammocks. There's a restaurant area and they do room service until 8pm. The staff were really lovely and couldn't do enough to help. This place felt like a little oasis in Copacabana. It was about a 15-20 minute walk from the white anchor which was a little tough at altitude but totally worth it with the views the property offered. We were upgraded to a double room with a balcony at no extra cost to us during our stay. The breakfast was wonderful.

I loved this hostal! It's located on a hill overlooking Lake Titicaca. You can see the central area of Copacabana off in the distance. There are many terraces which provide a variety of views. The sunsets were beautiful! (You can easily walk to and from town.) There are fruit trees and lots of plants all around. My room felt very festive, between the different colors the walls were painted and the many decorations on the walls and hanging from the ceiling. There is a community kitchen where you can make tea (provided) anytime, and there is the option of preparing food as well. Breakfast is served in a separate dining room. My favorite part of it was the daily fresh fruit salad. You can request eggs and/or a pancake, which (to me) was actually a crepe. Mine was tasty - banana-filled with honey. The coffee wasn't that strong. FYI - There are several stairs and the only option of getting to the rooms is by climbing the stairs, so people should be aware of this.

The views of Lake Titicaca and the hotel garden from the hotel room and balcony were spectacular. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is a little outside of town, which was great - very quiet, and an easy walk to town.

A little walk out of town, which made the return after dinner a bit dark. No water pressure, but not uncommon in this area.

Vibrant decor and an amazing lake view. Huge and comfortable room. Very hot shower. Really friendly staff and animal companions - llama and kittens! Good options for a nice breakfast. Well equipped shared kitchen for self catering, and indoor and outdoor shared relaxation spaces.

The bed was a little too hard for our taste.

Very attentive staff. And they were just plain nice. They even gave us a little going away gift. When we saw that breakfast was included, we expected the worst. Boy were we surprised!-- Cooked to order eggs, pancakes, fruit, ham and cheese, yogurt, tea, coffee, bread. Impossible to leave hungry.

It is located a bit of a walk out of town, up a big hill, but luckily taxis were very cheap from the centre and it was fine to walk down into town.

We were upgraded to a much bigger room with a terrace overlooking the lake which was lovely. It was great value for money, the included breakfast was really good and the staff were super friendly and helpful.

There was a large building under construction nearby. There was no work ongoing when we were there. But you may want to check that in advance of your stay.

Great views over the city. Large room, with balcony. Friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money. While it is up on the edge of the town it is a cheap (less than $2) taxi ride fron the town center - or a 15 min uphill walk from the town / 10 min downhill back to town. The advantage is that it is a quiet location.

We had some issues ordering dinner with them so I might not recommend this. The hostel is also a decent walk from town but taxis are cheap.

Beautiful hostel in a beautiful setting. The rooms were really lovely and we enjoyed watching the sunset from our balcony. Breakfast was also brilliant! Overall we thought it was fantastic value for money.

Nothing bad to say!! We met some lovely people here but maybe not the place if you’re looking to meet loads of people and party. Much more a relaxing vibe which was perfect for us.

We loved this place!! The design of the building is wonderful. About 15 mins walk uphill from the centre (the centres not nice anyway) and the views are amazing!! Very cheap taxi (10-12bs) if you don’t want to walk. We could see the lake from our bed! Really friendly staff who give you a map and explain about Isla del Sol. Excellent breakfast - buffet style with cereal, bread and then eggs, fruit and a pancake! Loved that our room had a little balcony with an incredible view and tea and coffee facilities. Communal kitchen is good! Hot showers 24/7 and so clean!! They even gave us a little gift on check out.

We absolutely loved our stay at Piedra Andina. The view is beautiful and one can watch the sunset on the balcony or relax in the hammocks in the afternoon. The buildings are very cute with very colourful decorations. Breakfast was probably the best we have had at a hostel in South America. We would totally recommend this place!! Thanks for the effort 😀

The noise coming from the room above was a bit too loud, we could hear all the steps.

The view was fantastic, the bed was big and confortable (firm), the breakfast average good and the service was great.
