This hostal doesn't have a reception so when I arrived I couldn't find anyone. It was raining so it wasn't pleasant to wander around but then I saw the restaurant and the staff were there.

Spacious room with an incredible view of the lake, very clean and comfy. Breakfast was good and more abundant than other structures, which usually only serve bread and butter. Family running the place are lovely and willing to help

There is no shower curtain so you wet the whole floor when taking a shower. Internet does not always work (but when working it‘s very good). As other guests have already mentioned - it‘s a steep walk to the hotel (but then again, what isn‘t on this island?).

New room with a great view over the lake! Good breakfast (including eggs and banana, no vegetables), extremely friendly and helpful owners. Hot water in the shower. All in all a very pleasant stay.

What a beautiful place with a stunning view across the lake! Very friendly and helpful people, who gave us great advice about things to do and where to walk around the island. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and really comfortable with plenty of space. There was hot water for showers, and the best breakfast we've had in Bolivia! Most people only stay one night on Isla del Sol, but if you have time we definitely recommend a little longer to get a feel for the place ... and we definitely recommend a stay at La Kantuta, it is excellent and fantastic value 😀

I had a room with lake view, which was amazing. The bathroom was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. But I especially liked the hospitality of the owners, who were very friendly ☺️

The WiFi was a bit on/off, but maybe that's an issue on the island. The yard/garden could be tidier if they would like guests to sit around.

Positive experience. Nice position. The room is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is ample. The staff are friendly. Lots of cats and a dog. The walk up from the port is steep and quite long. I got a young lad to carry my bag: 20 bols well spent.

The hostel has beautiful views over Lake Titicaca however its very high up on the hill so if you have heavy bags maybe leave them in Copacabana and just take a small bag to Isla del Sol. Our room had an amazing view and we enjoyed sitting in the garden and watching the puppy and kittens play! The included breakfast was generous and delicious and the room was very comfortable and cosy.

water took ages to heat up for shower and there were power cuts on the island and sometimes no running water but this isn’t the properties fault, it’s to be expected with a remote island.

Nothing! (just a useful tip - the accommodation is about 20-30 mins walk up the steep hillside from the port. Our advice would be only bring a small backpack unless you're staying a long time)

When I arrived to the Island, the person I was talking with by Whatsapp was not replying me. I arrived at the accommodation and found no one and then I started to scream asking for someone. Then, a lady appeared to receive us but she was quite confusing when we started to ask about the reservation such as Wifi, breakfast, prices, payment and etc. She did not know about the wifi, she did not accept credit card (although is on the Booking.com add), and she did not know the breakfast hours. After the check in, I messaged the lady to know about the Wifi network and password. She was taking hours to reply and when she did, she sent me a password that was incorrect OR the place had no wifi. I asked for her help again, but she never replied me.

The rooms have such an amazing view and the hotel is on the heart of the south part of Isla del Sol.

Breakfast was average, and late (9am) for those wanting an early start. No English spoken.

Good location in town (up on hill from port). Looks like a relatively new well-built construction. Clean and reasonably large room and bathroom. Shared balcony with good views. Good restaurants nearby. Others have commented on cold showers - the trick to having warm water is not to have too much water flow as the electric shower can’t cope.

It was cold in the room (get warm clothes!), and the hot water in the shower was not working very well. No sockets near the beds

The view from the room was amazing. Very big breakfast and the staff was nice. I got upgraded to a room with own bathroom, which was great since the nights there are really cold.
