Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Bonaire St Eustatius and SabaThere wasn't anything that we didn't like.
Well, we as a family did like everything to be honest. Like it says underneath; the property exceeded our expectations. It was our first experience at the resort and it was great.

United StatesThe water in our shower never got hot in our room. Also, the WiFi would go in and out which wasn’t great for when we were trying to work.
The property was beautiful! Loved having the restaurants, cafe, and dive shop all on site. The two pools were beautiful. Our room was very modern. Plenty of parking near your room.

CanadaFridge in room smelt bad. Campfire was small for amount of guests.
It was such a lovely stay, lovely property, good food, relaxing. You can download a convenient app on your phone that has room door unlock with a swipe instead of having to carry room key. I would definitely stay here again.

United StatesRan out of towels. But just temporary. Algae on steps from pier into water makes it super dangerous. Dive Shop not open when we need it.
Our rooms were awesome. We had an amazing house cleaner and all of the staff was great. Well situated.

United StatesThe restaurants could be better. I'm not a fan of Brass Boer and it seems like all 4 restaurants on the premises we went to, were owned by the same people. The restaurants Senan, BBQ at the Beach, and Tropicana, even though the menus are different, they all have this acquired taste. expensive and hyped up for nothing. I'd skip these.
the staff was very helpful. we traveled with our baby, and in addition to providing us with a crib, they also added a high chair for feeding time. both pool areas are clean and quiet. perfect for relaxation.

CanadaSenang restaurant was the only disappointment, food wise.
The studio room had all we needed for our scuba diving 1 week holiday. The small kitchenette was practical for quick breakfast and lunches. We mostly ate out at the resort for dinner. The food, service, and location were so amazing that we did not need to leave the resort.

Our stay at Delfins was wonderful. All of the staff were very kind and welcoming. The room was clean and nice. The staff helped me arrange a cake delivery and decorated our room for my boyfriend’s birthday. The gym on site is amazing if you like working out on vacation. Overall it was a wonderful trip and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again on our next visit to Bonaire.

United StatesI really did not like was the new addition of hydrofoils being used off the end of the pier. These were not there during my previous stay at Delphin's. This is a daily occurance during peak hours, and rental people are zipping in and out of the dock area unpredictably on these things as big as a surf board. This is a clear and present danger to swimmers, snorkelers and scuba divers (especially children). I strongly recommend that Delphins eliminate this or find another location for this activity. I personally observed divers returning from the house reef and remarking about how scared they were to ascend because they saw the hydrofoils zipping right above them. Hydrofoil renters are mostly teenagers etc who are novices and may very well be unable to stop quickly to prevent hitting a diver in the head or elsewhere. Since Delfin's markets itself as a resort offering diving off of its' house reef, how can it pose such a risk to those divers, who by the way, will spend lots of money staying, eating and spending thousands$ there? Not to mention its just a huge liability! A poor business decision in my view; penny wise and pound foolish! During my first stay at Delphins I also dove on the house reef, after seeing this I would not! This is an unfortunate development at an otherwise fantastic resort that offers a really good value.
The service and staff are very accomodating and friendly. They are prompt to reply to any questions and concerns. I had a billing issue and they resolved it immediately. The grounds are really well maintained and lovely with lots of tropical flora and a few resident iguanas and smaller fauna. Overall it was peaceful and on the quiet side. The beach is nice to have access to as well as the pier. The food choices on the property are excellent. The grounds and facility felt safe and friendly. It was very tidy and decor is nice. Not far from town. Easy to rent a vehicle with them. Vehicles always in good shape and easy to operate and can take them into the national park. They can offer some activities, trips etc. They make a vacation relaxing and convenient and overall a good value.

Fabulous beach and pools. The studio was bigger than it looked in pictures and very clean. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was equipped to make simple meals. The staff was friendly. The restaurants (we didn’t do Brass Boer) had good food and were reasonably priced considering the location. Sunset on the beach was fabulous and the Monday night bonfire was fun.

United StatesWe arrived earlier than check in as we'd checked out of our condo from longer term stay. The first reception we received was very off putting. We knew our room would not be ready. We were told that and basically nothing more. When asked how we'd know, did they text or anything, were told just to check back. Finally got instructions to " walk the resort,". We asked about the pool, only then were we offered towels. This person could have sent us to lunch, provided the wifi information, done a number of things but she was dismissive and clearly bored. Not a very good first impression of a top notch place. When we came back after 3pm, another staff person greeted us warmly, knew we were coming, oriented us to the facility, helped with luggage . Basically did all the right things. Would still highly recommend this place, especially for a romantic getaway or big relaxing downtime.
Lovely facilities and accommodations. Receive a complimentary bottle of wine in the room which is nice along with cold pitcher of water. Bathroom is very spacious, great shower, comfortable bed, kitchenette in the Studio has everything you'd need. Have their own app, welcoming package and front desk reception folks were great (with one exception). Provide a map of the resort as well as on line instructions for anything you need to figure out in the room. Their two major restaurants were closed on the day we were there but service and food at their beach place was excellent. Had breakfast in Sanang the morning we left. Very extensive buffet, cold items really cold, hot items hot and the place was a pleasure to be in. Everything you'd want and more here. Lovely grounds, lots of amenities

NetherlandsTwo things that bothered us a bit this time: First was double parked trucks near the exit at the back of the resort. We rented a truck as well for diving and had a difficult time parking it with a lot of trucks in places where they didn't suppose to park. Second was the scuba facilities on the beach. The gazebo which is dedicated for divers is now taken over by Efoil boards. There was no room anymore to suit up with our dive gear. And when we returned form the dive, we were asked to move aside and were clearly not welcome to get out of our gear and use the benches and water rinse bins.
Stayed for the second time in a year. This is a great resort with any facility you can think of in one place. Multiple pools, few restaurants, a bistro, dive shop and fully equipped dive center on site. And not to forget Bonaires largest gym. Will definitely book again!

United StatesThere is really nothing not to like about this resort.
A modern resort situated directly on the beach, boasting several swimming pools (the largest in Bonaire) and complimentary beach chairs with palapas. This property offers three restaurants/bars available for guests' enjoyment. Rooms are fully equipped with all necessities. Each room features a spacious terrace/deck furnished with chairs and a dining table. As a token of appreciation, guests receive a complimentary bottle of wine. The pictures provided are very accurate; what you see is what you get. Additionally, there is a tour desk on the property at the disposal of tourists.

NetherlandsStaff friendly but at the beach bar they could be much more customer focussed. sometimes waving multiple times to get attention whilst the girls were chatting... The one real bad thing was the end experience. Most customers Dutch. Flight back home at 21.30 in the evening. Check out at 11.00. Thus at the end of the day changing cloths and showering. That was horrible! tiny shower, everything wet, no dry spot for putting on shoes and trousers. No chair or table whatsoever close. So open suitcase on the floor everywhere. Unworthy of such beautiful resort! Not difficult to fix! Unfortunately that is the final experience...
Mostly great!
