Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CanadaBreakfast was not up to the same high standard the one day of the week that Flo had a day off (Sunday). If I could change one thing, either blackout curtains or window blinds that better block out the light would make sleep after sunrise better.
The location is within walking distance of Bachelor Beach, Donkey Beach and Te Amo Beach and in a quiet little town/village of Belnem. Flo was a fantastic host. She was always willing to provide guidance. In fact, she wrote out a list of suggestions for us at the beginning with things like restaurants or activities. She was also quick in responding to any inquiries both before our arrival and during our visit. She offered to help arrange scooter or car rental though many options can be found online. Every morning she served a unique and delightful breakfast. Importantly, she always has a smile on her face making you feel welcome. The apartment we rented was clean and pleasant. Beach towels and chairs were provided for the duration of our stay. The AC provided much needed relief from the heat. The kitchen area has pots, pans, utensils, a cooktop, fridge, counter, etc. that you may need to prep meals yourself.

United StatesIt's a perfect place for couples. The property has recently been renovated, therefore you will find everything you need. The rooms are spacious, with a comfortable bed, equipped with premium Riviera Maison bed linens and towels. Our host Flo was super nice and provided excellent hospitality. She made a wonderful breakfast for us each morning, including eggs, cold cuts, cheese, fresh spreads, vegetables, juice, coffee, and tea, and also accommodated our dietary restrictions. The rooms are equipped with everything you need, including, cutlery, pots and pans, plates and glasses. We also received beach chairs to use throughout our stay.

United StatesWhat do you get when you combine comfort and rich hospitality? Landhuis Belnam!!! During a recent trip to Bonaire I had the pleasure of staying at this “palace”! I had the honor and privilege of meeting Flo who made my stay top-notch Queendom. The location is just 7 minutes from the airport, steps to the beach, and less than 5-minute walk to great dining options. I was literally tired when I arrived; like beat down tired and was simply going to crash after arriving at 3p! As luck would have it the warm sunshine and bright kindness was too much to sleep on. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast each day was made for a Queen or King! Flo gave an enormous amount of info for excursions, great places to eat, markets, and well established businesses for rentals. My stay was made that much more satisfactory because of Flo’s attention to my desires and ability to provide resources. The facility had plenty of parking and a great ambiance if you wanted to just hang around for the day. I loved every minute of this trip. The location was in a quiet residential neighborhood, one street over from the main throughway. I was able to bike to two different markets in the opposite direction less than 2 miles from Landhuis Belnam. I’m not sure why this is at 3-stars but I’m giving it a full 5 without hesitancy. If you visit, be sure to “ask Flo, before you go!” 😁

NetherlandsNothing to complain about really.
First of all Hospitality was 10/10. Delicious breakfast. Clean and spacey room and outside area. We first booked for only 3 nights but decided to extend. We end up staying 10 days! Location was also very good. Close to ‘te amo’ beach and on the way to windsurf and kitesurf beach. But not far from Kralendijk either. Enough chill spaces around the house to layback and chill after a day of swimming/hiking/diving or kiting.

BelgiumIt could have been practical to have two chairs in our room to spread out your clothes.
This bed and breakfast run by a friendly family provides for a great stay on Bonaire. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was copious - you could get anything that is made with eggs, omelet, scrambled, sunny side up, you name it.

BelgiumThis place is a gem, especially for the price! Gita and Jessica are the best, they help you with everything you might need. The place is really cozy and beautiful, with a nice common area to socialize, cook, or just relax and have a drink. Bachelor's beach nearby is a great place for snorkeling or diving. One thing we didn't know about Bonaire is that you really need your own transportation to get around the island. Luckily Gita helped us to rent a pickup at the last minute! Be sure to contact them before your stay so they can help you find good transport.

United StatesHome made breakfast of delicious yoghurt , eggs any way you like cooked. Loved the breakfast everyday. Espresso coffee was the best! I like being served at the table in outdoor atmosphere under a roof. The King bed was brand new, the airconditioner worked great. I really like our patio outside the room. We had a refrigerator, large table, dishes, everything we needed. We could hang our wet suits out to dry.

Gita and Jessica are very friendly, accommodating and hospitable hosts. They provide a tasty breakfast, help visitors in their needs. The property is spacious and in great location: close to the airport, restaurants and beaches, not far from Kralendijk downtown. It is only 4-5 min walk to the nearest beach. I'd like to mention a great communication and quick responsiveness. I definitely recommend this place for your stay in Bonaire. You won't be disappointed. They have a very reasonable price. Overall, excellent value for money!

We spent a whole week here and it was an excellent choice. The owners run the place like your own home and that's how you feel there. Fantastic breakfast, nice terrace, always good contact with the owner when you have some questions about island. You can make yourself a coffee whenever you want or use the washing machine. Very good WiFi. Generally you need a car in Bonaire (there is no public transport), but from here you can walk to restaurants or the beach in 5-10 minutes.
