Quiet most of the day, but as the hotel is near the airport, about 10 flights a day could be heard. Last flight at midnight. The planes did not seem to bother the locals, so over time I almost forgot as well. The condition of the hotel itself (and even the mattress)- a little rundown, but it will be closing for a couple of months for a complete make-over.

My room opened up directly to the ocean. Amazing views. I walked directly into the ocean from my room. I explored the island, but if anyone felt like staying on the property for two or 3 days only, they could. Quiet. Staff was wonderful!

Location right at the Bonarian coast, comfortable sun-lounging, modest swimming pool, swimming and snorkling in the ocean at the doorstep. Very friendly and supportive staff (housekeeping, reception, manager).

Luxury small hotel - only eight rooms. Location by the sea and good snorkeling right from the small private beach. Parking right behind the gate. Open area with swimming pool and restaurant, comfortable and quiet. With good music. The staff was just great. If I visit Bonaire again, I would stay here again

My biggest complaint was lack of good lighting in the room. For example, when both lights were on in the bathroom, it was the strength of a burning candle = far too little light to use the mirror in there! The lighting in the main part of the room was OK but, again, too dim (except for the bedside lamps). Daylight was possible by opening the curtain next to the entry door - so one could have daylight but no privacy. Another small complaint was inconsistent delivery of towels to the bathroom. First day, small towel on the bathroom cabinet/shower mat/2 bath towels - one day, no towels (only shower mat), another day, one bath towel, etc. It was awkward to keep going to Reception to ask for towels! I chose not to have breakfast as it was expensive - $27.50. There definitely should be different options though admittedly this would be difficult for a small hotel unless guests prebooked and prepaid...

The location is fantastic - on the ocean and close to the airport. It was small and not overrun by families with children (good for a single person). The various outdoor seating options were great - cabanas, lounge chairs by the cabanas, chairs by the pool, tables and chairs partly outside, partly on a covered outdoor patio. Iguanas in the morning and sunsets in the evening! Carlos, the hotel manager, was fantastic - very helpful and welcoming! The room had a nice size mini-fridge which was very useful for storing picnic items. The bed was very comfortable.

Great seaside location. Would personally have preferred just listening to the wind and the waves rather than the constant and loud uppy music.
