The air conditioner in our room and in the room that my friend had was very loud! This is also minor, but the sheets were not fitted and so they slipped off often.

We left our valuables in the hotel safe & they were fine. The breakfasts offered many choices. I especially liked the fresh fruits. One of the reasons I love vacations is to sleep in late, so I appreciated that they stopped serving breakfast at 10:30 AM. So many hotels stop breakfast service so early that I often miss out. Also, the roof deck was a nice place to relax and enjoy the view.

Very good location: near to the beach and witha lot of restaurants, groceries and bars around, friendly staff, no lines to check in and check out and the cleaning service was pretty good.

The wifi wasn't the best, the pool area could use more seating and also doesn't have WiFi access.

The staff here were incredibly helpful we had a great rapport with Rudolph during our stay. The breakfast had a great selection and the location was ideal (walking distance to restaurants, the beach and the metro). The rooftop pool has a great view of the area both during the day and at night.

First room on the second floor was very noisy at night but the manager changed me for very nice one

Beds uncomfortable and wifi not so good…

Great location, short walk to the beach, heaps of restaurants and bars a block down. Staff was GREAT! Really kind and helpful, really appreciated the kindness. Breakfast was nice, and facilities were good. Nice rooftop with a great view and pool.

The hot tub was quite dirty and only had a few jets working, the gym equipment is in need of some maintenance and the room service kept changing the air conditioning to heat the room for some reason

The location is grea very close to the beach and local amenities, we enjoyed the rooftop pool and gym, there was also a very good breakfast .

Some of the breakfast staff come across rude, the pool could with a clean and overall refresh, the breakfast is limited to pretty much the same thing everyday which was lovely but could perhaps do with some changes.

I liked the location, reception staff, house keepers, room cleaners, room and bed was comfy, good air conditioning, good pool and sunbathing area.

Wifi needs an improvement and we had a lot of noise in the room. It seems to come from the air conditioning system. It sounds a lot when working and made hits like hammer when whas off. I didn’t liked it and we cannot sleep well. Sadly because everything was very good.

Having room cleaned one time in week and cleaners coming 5 o'clock in afternoon very poor ! The pool on roof never tools and umbrellas sometimes not put out !

The hotel is very dated and poorly maintained for what claims to be a 4 star hotel. The breakfast had limited selections and isn’t up to what other 4 star hotels in the area offer.

The rooms are old. They still have a radio integrated into the bed. The bed lingerie is old, it had a big spot on it. The shower head was also old and bad.

The breakfast was very good and the staff was friendly. The main advantage of the hotel is the location.

Although breakfast was included, it was the same menu the entire week we stayed (probably most people stay less than 72h) so for more than 3 days in a row was quit repetitive for me. If they could vary the menu every 3 days, I would have given them 10 stars evaluation.

10 stars Location (3 blocks away from the beach), plenty of options for restaurants, drogueria (farmacia), gym, crossfit, paderia (bakeryshop) and more. Also, staff was very kind, always guiding us to sense the best of Rio, their suggestions were the best all the time. The room has a balcony facing Rua Bolivar, which makes it perfect throughout the stay.

It’s quite an old hotel, even that some part of it has been refurbished, still some things that didn’t make it practical, like having a lack of AC to charge phones or whatever, ac a bit noisy without a remote control.

Very noisy air conditioner

Despite the fact that some things are outdated and in need of repair (switches, water taps, door handles, etc.) the hotel is in excellent condition. The location is just perfect, five minutes walk from Posto 5 at Copacabana beach. There are many shops, bars, restaurants, cambios nearby. Victor and Ricardo are the best receptionists I have ever met! You guys are amazing! Excellent breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff speaking good English.

noisy air conditioning, bed was not very comfortable, breakfast okay. couldn’t turn the tv on, hair drier didn’t work.
