I booked a forest room in the hotel. Although it was in a forest, the plants were so high in front of the balcony I would call it ‘A plant view room.’ I couldnt’ see the sea beyond or any forest; although I did stay in a corner forest room as well, and had a corner view of the sea which was preferable. It was near the gym or yoga area so was sometimes noisy. There is also a rooftop bar above these rooms so one can hear the music which is very pleasant though is on a loop and after a couple of days a can be a little ‘trying,’ when one is trying to relax. Nothing a pair of noise cancelling headphones can’t sort out though. The waiters and waitresses were absolutely lovely but the language barrier can be a huge obstacle when ordering food. The menu is decent but vegetarian & vegan options are severely limited. NB: I did hear from a local that the beach villas are stunning.

Very helpful reception staff who spoke very good English, a bonus in Itacare. Good food. Lovely views of the ocean from the main area. Dining and seating all open plan, so a very relaxed atmosphere. Decent infinity lap pool, more of a dipping pool to cool down in. One is very much on display if sunbathing which I wasn’t there to do as this was a stop off point before moving on. So be prepared for the diners to have a full view of you sunbathing, and diners be aware you have a full view of the sunbathers..

We loved everything, the one thing we thought was missing was a hot tub or a jacuzzi. For rainy season that would have been perfect as pool isn’t heated.

The hotel and staff are amazing! We loved our stay! Definitely recommend the hotel and great for couples.

beautiful views across the jungle and beaches, both from the rooms and from the infinity pool. dinner and cocktails were delicious, the staff were friendly and very attentive

air-conditioning. there are some rooms where the device is placed inside the wardrobe. As a result, temperature never gets cold (18C). I called maintenance twice, but there was no action to be taken. A good advice that was told to me is for the next reservation to ask in advance for the rooms where air conditioning is placed right next to the bed, since they don’t receive complaints for this layout.

Nothing - everything is perfect!

What a hotel! The decoration is absolutely amazing, rustic but very sophisticated. The views from the swimming pool and from the bedrooms are unbelievably wonderful. The property is extremely clean, everything is literally perfect. Staff is well trained and ready to help guests with everything. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed.

The place is really beautiful and clean, well decorated and you really can enjoy same time off and relax. The hotel gives you all that is necessary and you don’t even feel like going out there. The food is amazing but what really makes the difference here is the staff, everyone working to make you time great! specifically with Breno during the dinner, great drinks from Rodrigo and Felipe , and the excellence in service, right in the morning with the happy girls and explanations from Sil. I am definitely coming back.

Everything was perfect, and the attention to details is noticeable: The internal design of the hotel, the amazing ocean view from our suite, the use of "green" toiletries, the playlists playing in the background (which are available on Spotify BTW), the infinity pool, the food & drinks, and I could go on and on... It was great to meet Paulo who arranged an excursion for us: SUP in the mangrove, which we did with the amazing João. One last comment about the implacable service. The staff was beyond amazing. Always with a smile, and always willing to go the extra mile to make us feel we're in paradise: Cecilia, Lucas, Rodrigo, Tati, and João, it was a pleasure meeting you. We will return very soon.

Beautiful hotel, wonderful chic room with the most comfortable bed and a glorious view of the sea. The nicest staff, friendly and proffessional, tasty breakfast, we loved every magical moment of our stay. It is truley an amazing property.
