Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomReally good hotel, with a great team! Only reason for a 4-star review, no irons in the rooms and you can’t request one. But you can pay for an ironing service - first hotel in the world I’ve known this happen. Minor point, but easily fixed! I hope you guys read this…you deserve a 5-star review!

The hotel is simple but clean and nice. What definitely stood out was the staff. I don't think any 5 star hotel in the world offers the same service as we experienced in this hotel. Every detail was thought of - from friendliness, ready to help, parking the car, getting it ready, serving breakfast, picking one up with an umbrella when it rains, always waiting by the door for guests to arrive and being very nice and corteous. Breakfast was also very nice, they bring you omelette and tapioca as well as coffee and tea pots and pão de queijo to your table, apart from the buffet!

BrazilThe matrasses was too soft (for me). Could be way harder (but thats in Brazil generally the case - the people seem to prefer soft matrasses). Should be "D38" for the colchões.
Old Hotel. In the City Center, close to a small parque. Lot of parking in front of the Hotel. But Very clean and tidy. Staff extremely friendly. Fast check -in and check out. Room is simple but has everything needed. Very good WiFi!! And the A/C plug in the walls are "127V" (the wholes are bit bigger and therefore easier for plugs with european size). Beverages in the room are for free of charge! Breakfast very good! Restaurant in the lobby serves very good menu for very good price (44 BRL complete with salad, main course and dessert!). Best cost-benefit ratio. I will defintely return here for my next business trip. Super recomendo!
