The place of my room, at the very end of an enormous corridor of the second floor was a little too much, as many rooms closer to the main elevators were apparently empty. The carpet of the second floor corridor is not in good condition. The room had two big beds and I was by myself. Two lamps were burnt in the room. Bad maintenance. The bathroom has a little shower by the water closet that is not working well. I told the reception about it and during my stay of seven days nothing was done. The shower has a very slippery floor, and for myself in my 75 years old could be very dangerous. I told the reception about it e nothing was done. The maître of the restaurant Oscar was a very attentive and gentle man, contrasting with the rest of the personnel. In my next stay, I will definitely go back to Mercury hotel.

    Very good breakfast. Excellent location.

There was a huge event when I stayed at the hotel so it felt a bit more chaotic. The quality of the restaurant seemed a bit on the decline since last time I was there.

The best hotel we have stayed at in Brazil, not just a hotel, a modernist work of art.

Staying in an original building designed by Oscar Niemeyer with a view of the lake, lived up to our high expectations, and being neighbours with the Alvorado Palace and the Museum of Fine Art added to our excitement. Having capibara, peacocks and burrowing owls in the grounds was an added bonus. Wide range of food at breakfast - including our first soya milk after a month in Brazil, and great dinners. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. Bus from outside the hotel goes into the centre of town past all major buildings of interest.

Good hotel but the generators on the lawn near the pool ruined the stay.

There were 3 large yellow generators on the lawn near the pool. They were incredibly noisy and were on 24 hrs a day. They are for the hotel next door, not even this hotel! I complained to reception and was moved rooms further away from them and they are clearly heard in the room. This is unacceptable. The hotel owner also has a financial interest in the hotel next door which is why they are on this property (reception informed me) The noise of these generators ruined the serene gardens and sitting around the pool. For this reason I would never stay here again. Visit the architecture of the hotel by having a drink in the restaurant, don’t stay here at present.

Good hotel on the edge of the lake outside of Brasilia. Taxis are required to get anywhere as there is nothing near the hotel, but you can’t really walk anywhere in Brasilia as it’s a car city. The architecture is amazing and the pool is great if the sun is out and it’s not raining. Service was good and breakfast was varied and tasty.

Need to take better care of the bathroom installations, especially regarding the shower cleaning for molds.

Brasilia Hotel has a very nice space and it is well located, with a special tranquility setting within the city. Its installations are very comfortable and good for a relaxing stay.

    - No Iron board in the rooms. Sometimes they borrow, sometimes they don’t. - They spent 3 of our days there cutting grass, making a lot of noise on the swimming pool. - Breakfast could have more variation. It’s good, but not exceptional - Wifi is just okay

Unique place. Great architecture and history. Must-see for architecture enthusiasts. Super chill. We loved the place, but service could be better.

The night staff at the reception didn’t speak English so it was difficult at check in. A bit odd in that sort of a hotel. I checked in online to avoid the hustle of checking in onsite and they made me check in again… Some facilities, corridors etc. are a bit worn out and could use a revamp.

It’s a must for architecture fans, designed by Oscar Niemeyer. Very good breakfast. Location next to the lake, so picturesque but away from the city.

Beautifull well-kept hotel in a quiet part of the town. The center of the city is easilly accessable even for those who are not travelling by car as the stop of the local bus is just 3 minutes from the hotel. Excellent breakfast buffet, great selection. (mostly) friendly helpfull staff at the reception and restaurant as well.

They should install more sockets in the bedrooms. It was really hard to charge our devices. The Wi-Fi was a bit hit and miss. Finally, the food in the restaurant is great for simple stuff (sandwiches, chips), but I had some Italian dishes that were not very authentic and used a lot of salty cheese.

The architecture is just incredible. To stay in such a stunningly renovated Niemeyer building is really special. The service is very sweet and kind. The swimming pool is huge and pool service great.

For those coming for the architecture to Brasilia this hotel, designed by Niemeyer and carefully restrored, is a must. The staff complements the architecture by a friendly and helpful service. The setting is ideal to relax at the swimming pool after a day of sightseeing in the city.

The bathrooms were clean but a bit dated. Perhaps part of the architectural experience :)

Brasília Palace Hotel is an architectural gem in Brasilia. Walking around the hotel grounds, you feel part of history. Attentive customer service and an excellent breakfast were another highlight. Lakeside access and welcoming park grounds round out a great experience.

The social areas seemed to be taken over by certain events (a business conference then wedding) such that I didn’t even discover it had a bar/restaurant until the last day.

I was visiting Brasilia for the architecture and this hotel - a Oscar Niemeyer masterpiece - was actually one of the highlights. It’s quiet, very well maintained, and next door but one to the Presidential Palace.

I liked the breakfast but compared to cheaper hotels in Porto Alegre and Sao Paulo I was a little bit disappointed that there was no change (every day the same). There was no lactosefree milk or almond/oat milk, there were no small spoons at the table. - The room service was rather slow and I had to urge at the reception.

The room (including bath room) was nice. I liked very much the architecture and the nature around the hotel. The food in the restaurant was tasty.

The location is a bit remote, but the on site restaurant made up for it.

The building itself is excellent for architecture enthusiasts travelling to Brasilia to see the works of Oscar Niemeyer. The hotel did not disappoint, in terms of design and will definitely be a thrill for any design nerds. A literal time capsule of mid century architecture. The breakfast included everyday was a nice touch.
