Very peaceful place, a gem in Cumbuco. Breakfast is outstanding (try the pão de queijo) and the staff is really friendly and helpful. The room is exactly like in the pictures and super comfy.

AMAZING new small hotel in Cumbuco (6 rooms in total)! The rooms were beautiful and big (very comfortable for two people for a long stay or even 3 people for shorter stays). The rooms are well designed: plugs everywhere, Wifi router in each room with fastest Wifi I've had in any hotel in Ceara, comfortable beds, and clean towels and bed sheets. (I highly recommend staying here instead of 0031 Boutique Hotel which is more expensive and not as nice)

Nice little poussada near the centrer of Cumbuco. The bungalows are great and comfy with view on the sea and a relaxing area with hanging bed under the bungalow at ground level. Due to an overbooking mishap with a young married couple we couldn't sleep in the intended room but ended up in a smaller room without being charged due to the incident. Our host was very kind and accommodating and even introduced us the best restaurants in town.

This accommodation is definitely a 10 in the ranking. Authentic friendly hosts, family friendly. The rooms, single bungalows on stilts are real gems. Many details are lovingly brought in. A beautiful place to relax. Breakfast is lovingly prepared, delicious omelets. The entire complex is very well maintained and an absolute insider tip. Vehicle is an advantage, for the center not mandatory, for excursions can also be organized buggy's.

We had two cockroaches incidents and walking to the city center for dinning out although not to far (8 minutes), it's not enjoyable due to poor side walks.

This boutique-style property is ran by very accommodating professional family. unlike other places we stayed at in the area, this casa provides a quiet, comfortable, tranquil vibe. Each of 5 bungalows is an independent residence. It’s clean, stylish, thought-through. We were Kiting on a nearby Cumbuco beach, but not everybody who stays there is a kite boarder. We didn’t really talk to our neighbors but everyone is very friendly. Would highly recommend to everyone.

Loved staying at casa Caju. The accommodations are wonderful, comfy bed, and a large balcony with a hammock to relax. The swing bed under the pousada is another nice place to relax. We came for kiting and found the location to be just be perfect for this. A short 2-3 min walk to the launch spot. The hosts were wonderful; so sweet and helped us arrange massages, downwinders, and made the most amazing breakfast every day. We had breakfast at a couple of the local restaurants but nothing was better than the breakfast that was included at casa caju. They had fresh fruits, juices, breads and would make omelets, eggs, pancakes, avocado toast, or anything else one would want. We stayed here two weeks and didn’t want to leave. This was definitely the best accommodation in cumbuco!

Cumbuco was the last stop of our holidays and we were looking for a quiet place to enjoy our last few days in Brazil. With Casa Caju we definitely found that and more, this pousada even turning out to be the best one of our whole trip. The owners Sandra and Cris are incredibly kind and attentive and made our stay perfect. The bungalow is really cozy and decorated with attention to detail. Everything is built with beautiful wood which gives especially the bathroom space a pleasant sauna-like smell. The bed is very big and comfortable and there’s a TV with Netflix etc. which is a nice add-on. From the bed you can see the ocean or you can just simply relax in the hammock on the veranda and enjoy the view. The breakfast really exceeded our expectations as Sandra is an excellent cook and there’re always some deliciously baked pastries additionally to an already wide range to choose from (fruit, freshly squeezed juice, eggs, tapioca, bolo…). There will be the occasional monkey or cat visiting to get their breakfast as well. Apart from breakfast there’s also the option to eat dinner at the pousada and Sandra will cook some tasty fresh pasta with fish, shrimps and more. Normally we’re beach people but we enjoyed the calm ambience of Casa Caju so much that we spent quite a lot of time by the pool and in the lounge beds. All in all we had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back :)

The property had an infinity pool, but it was not turned on during my entire stay. The restaurant is only open for breakfast it would be nice if it served for all meals as you have to walk a small ways to get to the downtown.

The bungalow's were very cool and rustic. Each place had a hammock on the deck and a bed swing underneath which were really comfy. There are only 5 bungalow's that so it is very quiet and personalized. They clean your room when you want. The grounds were beautiful and the security is excellent. The room includes a fridge and snacks that are offered at a very reasonable price.

thatched roof has only one layer due to recent construction, so rain would filter a little and I had drops fall on my face while asleep. Also, we stepped on some animal poop on the floor inside our room. I believe it was due to the porous thatched roof. No screens on windows, which allows mosquitos to come in easily. At a moment, we had some non guests spending time at the pool with loud music, thankfully it didn’t last long.

Hands down the most beautiful hotel in Cumbuco. Architecture, gardening, interior design, all with impeccable taste. Perfect size boutique hotel. Delicious breakfast. Owners are charming, we really enjoyed chatting with them. Staff is also very warm and helpful. In spite of the inclement weather, we enjoyed our time in great deal due to our cozy cabin, with hammocks and an outside downstairs living room. Good internet.
