Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

FranceThe room was a little bit humid on our arrival, but this is easily solved with the air conditioning in a couple of hours. Amazing!
The Pousada is even more beautiful than the photos, the breakfast is absolutely amazing. Best breakfast I’ve ever had in an accommodation. Everybody was super kind. I can only recommend this place for your stay. Silence and tranquillity only 10 minutes walking from the center of alto Paraíso.

BrazilThere is no way to talk with the concierge except by face to face. I would like to suggest to add a phone in the room. This can bring additional privacy and care with the guests.

Brazilthe road up is extremely difficult, make sure you have a 4-wheel drive or just take it slowly.
the sauna is amazing and the staff is so accommodating. we are late sleepers and would show up to breakfast at 10:27 when it ended at 10:30 and they would be happy to still make sure we had everything that we needed and wanted. it’s a hidden gem. the trek to get there is difficult and a little suspicious but once you arrive you step into another world. we got to enjoy to bistro (amazing food) the pool, the sauna (the best we’ve ever seen), and a wonderful breakfast for 2 days. you really do get your rest here. they prioritize it. would stay again!

The people who work there are lovely. The breakfast is great ! The room is super clean. And the bed is comfortable.

IsraelBadly designed and overpriced hotel. Rooms are noisy - loud AC engines are located indoors, doors to balcony make a horrible noise when opened, poor noise isolation between rooms. Our room lacked basic furniture such as a sofa/chair, a table, or even a night lamp. We didn’t receive room service at all. Breakfast was mediocre at best and served in small portions.
The bed was comfortable. Staff gave helpful advice about local attractions.

United StatesThe room was very simple with cheap decor. The Shiva themed artwork was nice but poorly executed (they skimp on cheap frames, fixtures, wiring sticking out of the wall in the bathroom and outdated / chipping paint). The room was also quite dirty with dead bugs on the carpet even after the room was cleaned. It's like the staff simply did not vacuum. Very strange! The Sauna is very old and there is rust forming along the walls and oxidation stains on the windows.
Amazing views and the staff was incredible and quite accommodating. The morning breakfast was also delicious - they had a fully variety of food coffee and delicious juices!!! Dinner was great (we had the pizza!!) The existence of pool and the sauna were a great touch.
