I didn't know about the location of lapa, you cann't feeling safe. But also the hotel is in the best point of lapa.

The pizza and salad in the restaurant were terrible. I would'nt recommend eating at their restaurant. The rooftop pool was nice, but not too clean. Also the barkeeper who was in charge of the pool bar mixed good cocktails but was not friendly at all. The air condition was way too loud to keep it on during the night. Wifi was bad in our room, you could'nt use the streaming services provided.

The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was decent and there were a lot of options. We were allowed to leave our luggage there for some hours before the check-in which was nice. The Hotel is close to the city center and Santa Elena district, so you can walk to most of the main attractions

Two chairs in the room would have been good.

Breakfast was the same every morning, the standard Brazilian fare but plenty of food on the table and enough choice, plenty of fresh fruit.

WiFi frequently dropped out on 10th floor. Location is excellent for walking to downtown sights during the day but I felt uneasy at night on the streets since the area looks a bit run down. However, taxis are everywhere and remarkably cheap so there's no need to take risks.

Excellent breakfast choices. The small gym and rooftop splash pool and bar are nice extra facilities.

1 working lift in a 12 floor hotel so took a long time to come (we were on 11 so long way up the stairs). Ordered food twice and both times it took over an hour to arrive, the first time we only ordered a sandwich.

Took too long to check in. I was waiting for over an hour for checking in even though I was at the reception before 2 pm. I don’t know what system they use but it was not first-come-first-serve. I got cut off by many people who came after me

The room was comfy enough but it was mouldy on the wall in some parts. The key card did not work well.

Like in many Brazilian hotels, the coffee was awful. It's prepared in a thermos and doesn't taste good. The same could be said for the entire breakfast. There's a wide selection, but it's tasteless. The AC was incredibly noisy, so when it was turned on, it felt like a car was running inside the room.

If you enjoy going to pubs in the evenings, then the location is great.

The location - the street was dirty and smelly. The view from our window was very ugly, basically looking into other people’s apartments. The AC was really noisy.

The neighborhood is not very nice, lots of homeless around. I would recommend to stay in Copacabana or Ipanema instead. Housekeeping was not good enough, room walls were super dirty.

The wifi did not work good in our room and with some staff it was difficult to communicate because they did not know english and my portuguese is very basic.

Good location, nice rooftop bar and small pool.
