How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There is a Forro House (Local music) just across the street. On weekends it gets really loud until early in the morning!
Excellent staff! really friendly! Hotel is nice and as close to the beach as you can be in Aracaju.

The front desk girl when we arrived she was quite busy and not really happy. Our room also wasn’t ready as required with the cot. She seemed didn’t care and was quite rude when I asked about it. the check in was 2 and we arrived after 4pm. I would stay again as the first impression was not friendly and seemed to be annoyed to have quests check in.

Everything was wonderful.
Breakfast was a good mix of local and continental delicacies, staff went over and beyond to make our stay pleasant, and the location was great as it was a mere stone's throw away from both the beach and some lovely restaurants.

Everything was good. No complaints Not my first visit and I will return again. Maybe a coffee making facility in the room would be a bonus.
Very good position, across the road from the beach, near restaurants and bars. Very comfortable, large bed in a spacious room. Great breakfast. A nice pool and as the weather was not so good the sauna was great!

Breakfast was fantastic, lots of choice and we were made omelettes to order every day. Pool area was amazing, big pool with plenty of places to lounge as well. The receptionist was also brilliant, he spoke English and recommended a vegetarian friendly Brazilian restaurant to us which was lovely. All staff were very friendly and helpful too. Room was spacious, clean and with a lovely balcony.

The staff from hotel reception were unfriendly and very unkind…and it gets worse every time I visit (I have stayed in this hotel for the 10 times in the past 4 years and still, they treat me like I am some unwelcome walk-in from the street. They are unwilling to do their job with a smile, they don’t like booking.com reservations and make you redo the whole reservation process again - just because they don’t want or can handle the booking.com process. And they seem unwilling or unable to solve a simple problem and treat a return costumer with the respect that they deserve. If it was not for the kindness and for the professionalism of the kitchen, pool and housekeeping staff - I would have stopped coming to this hotel years ago.
The Housekeeping ans the whole gastronomic crew were super friendly (as always). Same goes for the concierge - who is the only friendly face you will ever meet, down at the reception desk. The room was clean as always. And the atmosphere and the vibe at the pool (staff) is super nice.

First of all they let us book it for 3 even though they don’t have triple rooms, so it was a hassle getting and paying for another bed for my son. The room came with only one towel and when asked for more they only brought one more. It’s like they’re scrimping on everything. The restaurant is closed, though it said it was open but you can sit outside of it to eat. The food was either bland or too salty and when I ordered a soup it all came with 4 forks and no spoon. We got an ice bucket no glasses. My husband ordered wine, no wine glasses again.
Not much, except it’s ocean view. The only good thing was they had nice think blankets instead of just sheets.
