The access card they give me to enter my room had many problems and didn't work for two days so i always had to ask for help or hoping that there was someone at the room.

The staff was very kind and helpfull. The views from the hostel are awesome. The breakfast was great, you have plenty of options to chose.

its a bit of a trek from the harbour over sand which is fine but noone explains you have to walk across the beach! pretty loud at night and some of the bunk have no safety rails despite being very high! sociable but not easy to meet anyone as a solo traveller

cool location, great parties that you get better access to staying there, aircon worked, we didnt have any problems with wifi or electrcity like other places

My key card didn’t work at all when I was there. The floors could have been cleaner, they did come in once a day but they were wet and sandy the whole time. And there wasn’t a lot of space to hang things.

My roommates were lovely! The bar is incredible, great location. Very vibey and easy to meet people

We didn’t mind at all but just to be aware it’s quite loud in the evenings / in to the night with the live music and people coming and going from their dorms.

Amazing location at one end of the beach with a beautiful veranda looking out over the bay which is where you eat breakfast (all you can eat with scrambled eggs, toast, pastries, fruit, juice, coffees etc.) and live music / drinks in the evening. Stayed in a private en suite room which was a good size and clean with great view. Didn’t come across the staff much but they were friendly enough.

there’s a lot of noise, party that goes up until late in the night. if you want a quiet place to rest, this is not for you. the bed was very uncomfortable and the cleaning was not very good. also you have to walk a bit to be able to get to Abraão and cross a small river.

The view is amazing! our window was facing the ocean, so beautiful. the staff was also nice.

Poorly maintained in all possible ways. Everything seems to be broken. Cleaning was poorly (but there is so much the cleaning personal can do on a place like that).

The breakfast was very good with options and was very tasty. The kitchen staff was very nice as well.

Nowhere to chill other than the bar where music blasts all day and night. The bar is open to public so it’s more of a normal bar/restaurant in the evenings, making it not like a hostel feel where you can meet other people which is unusual for a party hostel

there are not really comfortable places to hang out. the smell of party hangs in the air and at night i was sleeping with noice cancelling headphones. in the bigger dormitories everything is so humid and wet that nothing dries.

i liked the location close to the water. the bedroom for 4 is the best. the view is stunning.

In the room I stayed there was zero hangers, cabinet or similar to hang or put clothes. I understand it's a hostel, but a rack and a few hangers is the minimum I would say. I stayed at the private room with bathroom.

the location of the hostel is far away from the main station and the walk to the hostel in the sand on the beach in the heat was horrible to do twice,the staff were okay not really friendly but no one was mean or anything,but they were never available-the front desk was almost never manned,I basically checked out twice by myself and texted them that I did,there’s too many bartenders and too little receptionists,I tried to extend twice and both times the system was down and they couldn’t make a res for me

It was very very social it was the IT hostel people were at-party every night and a pretty decent decent breakfast

Extremely noisy accommodation and super dirty. Smells like sewage and the toilets clog. Booked a double room with sea view and left after the first night.

Probably the only hostel in the island with not even one hammock. It actually lacks of any kind of common area for relaxing or chilling. If getting a rainy day then, you're basically screwed. Can't even read a book, chill, or work on your computer. Only wooden chairs and tables. Which is sad because they could make some changes to have that kind of space. There's no shower to get sand off, while it's a hostel on the beach. Meaning you'll get sand everywhere. No kitchen for guests to use. They do offer discounts on the "restaurant", but menu is so short only burgers are worth ordering. That's if you get a seat, because the place is party spot for the whole town. Meaning it's the noisiest place I've ever been to. I made the mistake of booking my entire stay there, as other che lagartos are ok. PS: Power sockets are as bad and worn out as average in Brazil. Super hard to get phone chargers to actually work.
