Despite the food being very good and the staff very nice, the service was quite slow and every time they forgot to bring one (or more) of the items we ordered. Not a big issue but rather a tip for improvement.

Lovely pousada outside the city centre. We loved the place and the location. The palms in front of the hotel are beautiful and the beach is super nice and most of the times empty. The breakfast was delicious and the room very spacious. We had a great stay!

The power is a bit weak and we could see few times the air conditioning struggling to work, also do not expect much pressure from the shower and tap - I believe this could be something related with the region. Also, there was no way to contact the reception after 10pm when we needed to ask for an extra bed cover - or at least it wasn’t explained to us how to do so.

location is perfect! we don’t like busy destinations like Maragogi and this place saved us and our day there. simply perfect! staff is excellent, extremely helpful and friendly

Right in front of the beach, but on a calm and nice area. Close from the maragogi “center” (20min walk, 5min by car), but far enough to be peaceful (perfect combo). We had a room with ocean view and loved it. Comfortable bed, cute decor, big bathroom, high quality towels. Nice outdoor area to longe in front of the beach, nice wood furniture. Last but not least, yummy included breakfast and they offer delicious food, lunch and dinner, for a fair price. The staff was really nice and lovely, always on a good mood (thanks everyone for making our stay even better, it means a lot to have nice people around! ♥️)

What a wonderful stay at the Pousada Enero - traveling south on the east coast of Brazil this gem is the highlight of the trip so far. Pepe’s customer service is first class and the picnic baskets in the morning for breakfast was such a pleasant touch. Felt like we had our very own private beach. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable - we had a ocean view room on the second floor.

The stay here was great, great location, staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was very spacious with a nice bed bathroom and TV with Netflix. The breakfast was amazing with the bonus seating and view of the beach. The food from their menu for lunch was great. The outdoor area had beach lounges and hammocks, super relaxing after a busy day.

The only thing Pepe could do to improve this property is to have a water fountain where you can refill your water bottle instead of using so much plastic. Everything else is perfect.

Enero is an amazing pousada on the edge of Maragogi. It is on a quiet part of the beach but is a 15 minute walk into the town along the beach. Pepe is a great host, super friendly and very happy to help you with anything you need. He has bikes in the pousada which you can use for free, we did a cycle up the beach to Barra grande and it was amazing. We had a big room with a balcony and view of the sea, I would definitely recommend this to others. The breakfast in a basket is an amazing idea, it’s lovely to have this on the beach. If you stay here also make sure to try the pizza!

Nothing major but my room was too close from the kitchen so it was constantly noisy and some food smells coming to the room.

Location, staff, super clean and delicious breakfast basket you can take at beach if want. Pepe and his team are the nicest people and I had a wonderful time exiling there. ;)

Don't know where to start... Great location on the side of Maragogi, almost private beach, great staff and crazy breakfasts... even pizza was great! Room had everything what was needed and there was parking.

Our light in our room didn’t work. The hammock could not be hung in our outdoor area as it need some renovations and the plants need some attention.

The room was a bit smelly, probably humidity. The staff wasn't particularly welcoming.

The location is on the farthest beach of Maragogi so its very quiet and chill. However, it is quite far from the more popular beaches. The breakfast in a basket is a nice touch since you can take it out to the beach tables they have under the palm trees. The decoration is nice and feels very cozy.

if I have to say something, it could have more room for luggage and wall hangers

quiet area , but still close to center of maragogi - 10 min walk via beach or 3min by car. the staff is the best and give you all attention and information at all times. the room and breakfast are great. it’s helpful to have the restaurant open for lunch and dinner.

Clean, very friendly staff and owner. Really good picnic type breakfast which one can eat under the palm trees on the beach about 10 meters from the hotel (more like a B&B atmosphere). Quiet private place but with easy access to the busy places. I'm in for a return. Thank you Pepe.

Everything was OK, the place was clean also but I felt disappointed with the breakfast. It was not buffet so they offered me things I don't eat in breakfast. I was expecting more variety and quality for the price. Example: there was just 1 type of natural juice offered given in a small bottle, there was no option to have warm toasts (cheese, ham and bread were cold), cheese bread was also cold, cakes seemed to be purchased in a supermarket. They can improve service for sure.

Pepe was kind and shared with me all contacts for taxis, trips, etc.

The best stay ever. Just amazing! The breakfast is perfect. They provide you a delicious picnic basket with tons of delicious and typical food and juice. Is absurdly delicious, you have an amazing experience, bc you can get your basket and eat in front of the beach 🏖. They have a restaurant which is super handy and delicious. The rooms are also spacious, sparkling clean and comfortable. They also offer sail - and is definitely a great experience. I would come back for sure just for the experience in the hotel.
