Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

BelgiumThe neighborghhood of the hotel is not dangerous, but not really enjoyable as it is mostly empty of people. I recommend taking an uber everytime you leave the hotel. The hotel is not eco-friendly! Single-use soaps with a lot of plastics that are replaced everyday (even though the soap is not yet finished), towels that are replaced everyday. In Europe, you can say when you don't want the towels to be washed, which is good.
My room was spacious, clean, with a lot of mirrors. It really enjoyed the two restaurants that were available (one brasilian and one japanase). The pool was also a nice addition, small but enjoyable. I didn't try the breakfast as it was out of my price range (solo traveler). The staff was super super friendly (but only a few spoke English). I lost some objects and told it to the receptionnist who found my stuff back, so that's super nice.

You will find every thing you need there. From the room to the restaurants: every thing is well planed make you confortable. The room is very clean.

ChileIs not easy to come and go, only by taxi. Is not far away from main street, but is located down a hill. If you want to go out by your self, do this at day time, but take a taxi to return.
Excellent room, facilities and service. Breakfast and restaurants of Brazilian and Japanese food are very recommended.

I have stayed at this hotel 4 times... I like how accommodating and friendly the staff members are... My flight from Los Angeles always landed early in the morning and they always let me check in early. After long hours flying this is a big plus to me... I love that they have a small gym, a coworking with high speed wi-fi, 2 restaurants, a pool and excellent location in São Paulo, near the Paulista Ave with free shuttle service to the shopping mall. Will keep on coming back. The price is perfect for what the hotel has to offer.

United StatesLocation is a little dodgy.. I usually stay in penheiros, the business part of town, which cleaner and nicer and just felt a lot safer, whereas this areas just doesn't feel quite as safe and at night is not well lit at all. Again, use caution and travel via uber after dark, to get around to most places is $5-10 cab so inexpensive.
Excellent staff, hotel amenities were all very very good. Natalie at reception was awesome and the guys in the restaurants were attentive and made a big effort. Had breakfast at the hotel and it was yummy! Nice artsy neighborhood with good Japanese restaurants in area.

BrazilIf I must complain about something, the maid rang my doorbell while I was still asleep, so make sure you put your do not disturb sign if you want to sleep in.
My room was a small standard room, but it was well-organized and felt large. Bathroom was spacious and very good shower. Strong, hot water (or however you like it). Pool and gym exceeded expectations. Beautiful restaurant with light coming through the roof, and good prices for the food. Everything very clean and staff very friendly. Good mini-bar, decent prices for items. I would and will stay there again.
