The breakfast was really good and, the size of the room was good and the bed comfortable. As any hotel around Avenida Paulista, the location was good.

The wifi in the hotel was bad, very bad, it was almost impossible to use, so I ended up having to route the internet from my phone the entire stay. During my stay, there was some repair work going on - which was not communicated to me in advance! - so, every day, between 10 am - 5 pm, there would be a lot of construction noise because they were breaking the floor literally on the room above me. I asked to change rooms but was told there were no other options available. The double bed was basically two mattresses together with a double cover, bedsheets were also low quality and not big enough to be properly tucked on the bed, so, whenever you sat or laid on the bed, all the bedsheets would simply get out, this was every single day.

The location is perfect, two blocks from the metro. Breakfast is good, but after a week is a bit repetitive as it's the exact same food every day. The room size is great, you have a little living room separate from your bedroom, which worked perfectly to take meetings and get some work done.

In the bathroom there was very little space to enter the shower. Could have been better planned! It was renovated with poor design thinking.

Breakfast was poor in selection- could have more fruit, scrambled eggs were not tasty. Bread selection poor. Cheese poor.

The location is perfect. A lot of restaurants and stores in walking distance. The staff was helpful and the room was remodeled, incredibly spacious.

Staff in La Residence went out of their way to help me with different requests I had. Also, there were a few issues unrelated to the stay and they still gave me all the support I needed, to which I'm very grateful.

We do understand hotel check-in/check-out policy. I advised we'd be making a check-in by 10pm instead of 2pm, regular check-in hours. I also asked if I could have a late check-out, 4pm instead of noon, which they asked to make a new reservation. I wish they had allowed us to compensate those 4 hours of late check-out without charging a new reservation.

We didn't have breakfast there as it wasn't included in the reservation, so no comments on that. We liked their support in the open facility to bear a late check-out which wasn't approved but they did keep our luggages and provided a space for shower prior to leave the hotel.

Very weird location of rooms like 205,206,208,2011 with one elevator and 209,210,212 etc. with the other elevator. On our floor it smelled like the cat peed all around and then died. I asked room service woman what is that smell, she said “a cat pee”. A cat in a hotel?!?!? It was cold in the room, WiFi didn’t work in the bedroom. My boyfriend was bitten by bedbugs. Breakfast was poor. Stuff didn’t really speak English, but they were still nice except the manager with tunnels in his ears.
