The room is quite narrow and hot (at the first night of my stay, the staff forgot to turn on the AC while going out so it was very hot)

The location is very nice, it is close to the bus stop. The staffs anf owners are also very kind and helpful.

Little bit out of 'life' and city center, but there are buses and also restaurants/shops nearby. It's not a real negativ side, just saying.

I was really satisfied. Pool seemed nice, but weather wasn't for chilling in it. It is not a big hostel, but I could find my company there which is important for me, as a solo traveller. I would go back.

Depending on what you're looking for, this is not a hostel for international travellers - it's really just a few converted rooms downstairs at someone's house. There was some confusion with our check-in and little to no security (we weren't given keys of any kind for the front gate or dorm rooms, potentially anyone could just walk in!). The beds are flimsy (mine felt like it could collapse any minute) and there's no traditional hostel vibe. No toilet paper or soap in the bathroom.

It was good to have a pool! The place was clean and has air conditioning (9pm - 7am). It has an outside kitchen space that was just fine.

Random cables everywhere sticking out of the walls (even in the shower), bathroom doors didn't close (no intimacy), no light in the corridor, no instructions how to enter the property, not very clean, very old and ruined bedsheets, in general they didn't seem aware that we were coming

Bed are meaking to kids, small and 9 people in 3x4 mts room, crazy. Lockers and bathroom far, after 10 am you need leave or pay extra day.

The room was basic and at nighttime, it was freezing in the room. I don’t think the weather was typical, but I needed several blankets and it still wasn’t enough. The kitchen could be better equipped

The hostel was not very clean - I found a biscuit wrapper under my bed and the bedroom floor felt a little gritty. There were only two toilets and they were not cleaned daily (maybe once every two or three days, which is unacceptable for a hostel). The kitchen was even worse, used pots and dirty dishes everywhere, the dining table and countertops were hardly cleaned. The foam mattress was also very deflated, I could feel the wooden bedframe on my back through the mattress.

The rooms were quite large, with a nice window and a pool though I didn't use it. Wifi was strong as well. Staff was friendly even though I could not speak Portuguese and they could not really speak English, but they really tried. Location was on the avenida de cataratas with the direct bus 120 to the falls (and also the airport) plus the cross-border buses from Puerto Iguacu also dropped me within 10 minutes walk to the hostel.

During the day nobody keeps the hostel clean. It was unpleasant to go to the toilet. I didn't have a blanket, I was freezing at night.
