The hostel was almost empty when I arrived so there was no social aspect. The rooms are a bit old and bathroom small but it is good value for money.

Good hostel to stay in Santa Teresa. Henrique e Cacaia are very nice and helpful. There is a very nice communal area.

The dorms can get warm during heatwaves and while Santa Teresa is great, it can be a little tricky getting to the city's more touristy spots so it's sometimes worth planning ahead

Cacai and Henrique go out of their way to make you feel welcome, keep safe and make the most of your time at the hostel. Breakfast is great and it's a really sociable hostel.

There could be better lighting in the room.

One of the most caring and kind hosts. They were like family from day one. It is a very central hostel in Santra Teresa. Everything is nearby. They kept the hostel clean.

The beds are quite uncomfortable and the bunks are unstable. Bathroom was located within the dorm room, so it felt very intimate to go to the bathroom. No aircon during 08-21, so it got incredibly warm during the day.

The owners are an amazing and caring married couple. They only speak Portuguese, but we managed well to communicate. Breakfast is very good and the common areas are nice to hang out in. They have filtered water. Close to Santa Theresa area.

Cacaia & Henrique are the most kind and friendly hosts! every morning Cacaia would could up an amazing breakfast and Henrique stayed up all night to make sure the guests could get in safely during carnival no matter how late it was. they were so happy and made it feel like home. couldn’t recommend more highly!

Cacaia and Enrique are very warm and welcoming. I felt like home. The areas are clean and good to hang out with other travelers and meet new people. I only stayed for short period but would have loved to stay longer. Ps. Cacaia's Bolos are really tasty!!

Cacaia and Henrique are extremely nice and wonderful people who make you feel like you've come home. They were very helpful to any questions I had, genuinely looked happy to see me and help me out, and have left a lasting impression on how we should be kind to others. Was not easy to find with the taxi the first time I arrived (at night). Might be better to tell the driver to go to Santa Teresa movie theater and walk 10 meters from there...

Good location for exploring Santa Teresa. The couple who owns the place are super friendly and accommodating. Kitchen is nice for meeting people.

Great stay! The room was really clean and spacious. The common area are well organized and there is everything that you need. Good location with a lot of bars and restaurants. Cacaia and Henrique are the best people ever, they made us feel at home. Can't wait to come back!

Wifi was a bit slow in the room, however it's working perfectly upstairs. Plus they are working on better wifi downstairs.

Cacaia and Henrique are incredibly welcoming, they helped me with everything I needed. There are fans and airconditioning in the rooms, every bed has a curtain and the backyard area is really spaceous and comfortable :)

The big dorm wasn't very Feng shui or however you spell that. Slightly noisy too, but nothing some earplugs can't overcome.

Cacaia was so lovely, I wish her all the best! Also this hostel easily lends itself to meet new people, very nice common area.

Cool neighbourood but far from some tourist attractions and Ubers don't like to take you at times because the area is difficult to navigate and throws off their GPS. The hostel doesn't have a sign out front so it was difficult to identify where the hosetl was and what door to go through. Doors to the room didn't lock properly
