The hosts were just incredible! The room was lovely and clean, and the breakfast provided was tasty and plentiful. They helped to arrange all the tours and transfers needed and were very responsive with all the questions and requests I had, not Barreirinhas! You really are in great hands here ☺️ Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Lençois!

Cineide and Gaspar are just amazing hosts that make everything possible to makenyou feel welcome and safe. Cineide can organize all the tours you wish for around the Lençois Maranhenses to very good prices. The hostel is clean, breakfast is good and the people are very nice. I just loved staying there and will surely stay there again, if I ever cone back to Barreirinhas.

The stay in the hostel was perfect for me that I travelled alone. Even though there wasn't a lot of people I felt comfortable. The host take good care of you, organize the tours for you if you want. It is a 10 minutes walk to the restaurants and shops, but a calm area, so that it is safe to walk around. The rooms are very easy but clean and have an air condition.

It is about a 10-minute walk from the main strip of restaurants, but that didn't really bother me as I would usually chill at night, but depends on what you are looking for.

I'm an English speaker with little Portuguese knowledge (I'm trying!), but Em Boas Mãos went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and help with whatever I needed. Breakfast was delicious (eggs, bread, fruit, pastries) and it was very easy to book tours, transport, and laundry with them. They even made me a little workspace upstairs when I had to do some computer work! I went during the off-season, so not too many guests when I was there, but it was very easy to chat and hang out in the common areas.

Everything! It was super clean and comfortable and the wonderful hostel owners make it feel like a home away from home, which I needed!! As I don’t speak Portuguese, they helped me arrange tours, get what I needed from the pharmacy and change the arrival time for my next hostel in Jeri.

The shower was a little cold but it was ok.

The staff is extremely nice and the place is cute and cosy! Very good breakfast, and also the shuttle to go to the dunes can come by this hotel.

Location is a bit far. Not so spacious, a little cramped and there is a strange rule a minimum of three people in the dorm to activate the air conditioning.

You have to walk a little from the city center but it's ok.

Everything was ok: bed, wifi, shower ... The breakfast was good! The host arranged very easily a tour to Lençois Maranhenses for the day after.

The dorm was real cramped- six beds in a quite small space with only a fan unless there are four or more people staying. There also wasn't much of a hang out area- very few places to just chill and relax. No lockers, no kitchen available for guest use, and the wifi wasn't very good. Overall basic facilities for a hostel-- nothing special.

The staff were incredibly nice and the breakfast was tasty and pretty variable. The tours that they offered were actually very reasonably-priced... about the same as if you go and negotiate with independent companies. It's also really easy to meet people here- good vibe.
