There were a few things broken in the room, and there were some problems with the water from time to time.

The location is perfect and in a safe area, so it‘s a good place to explore Rio. The hostel has a bar, where you can hang out, meet new people and have some drinks, between 20:00 - 20:30 there‘s free caipirinhas all you can drink, in combination with party vibes, so it‘s good pre-gaming. Staff is super helpful, Tai is an angel, you can always ask for recommendations. Also, everyday they organize events that one can join.

I really liked the hostel, super good rooms/ bathrooms and the people have been super nice. Location is 1a. Alexandra was super helpful in finding spots in the city. There could be a basket before rooms to remove some of the sand before entering.

The only common area is downstairs in the bar, which can get quite crowded at certain times. Bathroom is tiny. AC works great, but is turned off during the day and is freezing at night!

Amazing and friendly staff who are available to help you 24/7. Cleiton welcomed us late in the evening and he and the rest of the staff made sure we were comfortable at all times. Lots of activities, tours, and a great place to meet people. 1 block from Ipanema Beach. Curtains on the beds were a plus. Shower had great pressure and temperature. Cleanliness was decent. We always felt safe here.

Great location and amazing staff! Mel and Augusto at reception were super helpful and friendly! Loved the free caipirinhas and all the daily activities that were available. Definitely a place to meet travelers, enjoy with friends, and create new friendships.

No privacy curtains for the bunks but it looked like they were in the process of installing them as I was leaving. Also, the lockers are there but there’s no system so you can run the risk of not having a secure one.

The bathroom door needs to be fixed, at times it gets difficult to get it locked.

Staff made the difference, helpful and always keen to guide guests, even organising nice events in and outside the hostel, taking into account weather conditions and people's preferences. Big shout to Rodrigo, Tay e Sol.

The beds need curtains to block light.

Great staff who are always creating social events to allow travellers to meet. Free hiking and frequently suggesting things to do in the city / for the day. The staff, especially Juana were amazing; continually having a positive and welcoming attitude whilst being eager to help.

The location is pretty strategic for me to enjoy Rio. It was only a 2-minute walk to the beach, many restaurants nearby, and places to hang out. The staffs were amazingly kind and helpful! A great place to meet new friends, especially with all the offered activities there. Make sure to join the WhatsApp group because I completely missed that on the first few days of my stay.

The bathroom is extremely small and the sink is in the room itself.

The beds had curtains, the breakfast was very good! The location is very good.

Noisy street, too much cars and trucks

The girls provided very good service since I arrived, they let me in prior check-in time since I got an red eye flight from Bogotá, the facilities could be better but they are not so bad, breakfast is good. Tay, Iza and Ste are great staff members, also one of the guys helped me when I had to go out to get back my phone left in a restaurant.

- The hostel doesn't have a kitchen - The AC didn't work properly in my room. Could be an issue in the summer.

- Friendly and energetic staffs. Melissa, Tay, and Veronica were lovely - Convenient and safe location in the Ipanema beach. Many restaurants in the area - Many international guests and other guests are nice - The hostel offers many activities (e.g. parties, hiking, bonfire in the beach)

Fair to say that it's a party hostel & it's surrounded by other hostels/bars which means everywhere plays loud music until early hours

Staff were friendly and the rooms were cleaner/more comfortable than other hostels I've visited
