Some staff members were rude, you felt like you were asking them for a favour by even just wanting to check in. They charge you to use your own washing powder in the machine and control the temperature of it so it's not clean.

For clients staying weeks, the breakfast menu is quite redondant. And more pillows would have been welcomed.

bathroom cleaning could had been better (my stay was during carnaval). my room had no windows and was very dark without lamps near the beds - only light was overhead.

The room without window, a hostel that feels a bit too modern, the distance with pelorinho, a lot of people crossing the hostel but not a lot of interactions with other guests

I stayed only two nights in Recanto da Paciencia. Best point is the location in Rio Vermelho and close to Paciencia beach. I was very welcomed by the volunteers there !

Everything was very good

The staff were excellent especially Nahuel who was very helpful and spoke English which made things alot easier for me 😊 The location is great, right across from the beach and there is a lovely restaurant on the corner a few doors down to the left. The hostel booked a tour for me but unfortunately due to weather it was cancelled, this could not be avoided. They had a lot of information on trips. The accommodation was very comfortable and I had a great experience here. Breakfast was basic but very nice.

There was nothing in particular that I didn't like during my stay.

The team is very welcoming and sweet. The rooms are clean and have air-conditioning, very important for the insanely hot summer of Salvador. The facilities are good and convenient, breakfast is simple but tasty, and the atmosphere is quiet, good place to work.

1.. I was looking for my second cup of coffee one minute before the end of official breakfast hour (9:30) but no. I asked and they said "no, coffee's finished". In my humble opinion, there should be a FULL carafe of coffee at that moment. It's a stupid way to save a few pennies and minutes. Guyyys... Let the late risers have one more cup while you start clearing everything else. 2.. Confusion over my payment. I paidfor breakfast (10 Brazilian bucks) at check-in but they tried to re-charge me at checkout. They just need a better system or better training so that different employees know what each other did the day before

Modern, spacious, well appointed/equipped.. 3 min (safe) walk to the heart of Rio Vermelho Best freezer. Leave a 1.5L overnight and ....PEDRADA ... your water will remain icy for hours after hitting the city. Cool room. They are not misers with the A/C here. Rare!! High quality water filter so you can refill and avoid the plastic industry. Oh.. MULTIPLE bathrooms. Very necessary.

Our room was very small and without any windows. The air conditioner was not working the first night (but the next day the problem was quickly solved). Paid breakfast.
