Few details would make this a superior stay: Bathroom with no windows only shades. No bed side presence lamp. Rooms around had an abandoned look. Gym with no A/C. Cakes and bakery at breakfast really low quality.

The environment inside the resort is really cozy, jungly and unique. The room allocated to us was super big and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful.

Fantastic location in Pipa, a hotel in the jungle. Very nice staff. Possibility to use all pools and restaurants from the 4 resorts. Good food and even better drinks and cocktails. Also very quiet, which is a big advantage in Pipa but only 5 minutes walk to the center. Many options for activities

The manager and the entire staff went above and beyond to meet our needs and make our stay most pleasant. The entire place was really well maintained and the pool/garden area was just the perfect place to relax surrounded by lush greens. We absolutely loved the breakfast with the greatest selection of fruits topped with all sorts of omelettes, tapioca or waffles specifically made for you. The rooms were beautiful and super clean. We extended twice because we didn't want to leave and will be back for sure

Would be helpful to have menu in English. Have co-workers who speak English and just think it would be a great option for business to have this available. Overall, no issues and the food was amazing.

The breakfast was one of the best I have had. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the gym and equipment was plentiful to get a thorough workout. Most of all, enjoyed the time with my significant other at this place- would love to come back!

Sombra e Água Fresca was beyond expectations, the rooms are spacious and the common area is beautiful, highlighting the swimming pool which is stunning. The food and drinks are great too. The staff are super friendly, also a big thanks to the concierge Ernesto who provided an impeccable service.

The only thing is that the hotel is a bit far from the center and the hotel does not provide transfers. The street to the Spa hotel is a bit dark, but its a minor detail that did not affect our stay at all.

I stayed at the Spa, the location is a little bit far from the city center, but anyway it was not a problem at all. Taxi service is not expensive, the hotel support to provide it anytime you need with very professional drivers.

The facilities were extraordinary! The Staff was all very well trained, kind and welcoming.

My stay at this hotel left much to be desired, mainly due to the lack of attention to detail by the management. The lack of maintenance throughout the establishment is quite evident. The gardens, for example, clearly lack care, which is a pity, as they could provide a more pleasant atmosphere for guests. Believe it or not, we were visited by two scorpions in our room, and when I complained at the reception, I was told, "but you're in a 'forest'." The problem was resolved by changing rooms, but it's totally unacceptable, putting travelers' safety at risk. Furthermore, the condition of the room left much to be desired in various aspects. From minor repairs to more substantial issues, such as the quality of furniture and cleanliness, fell short of expectations. Another disappointing aspect was the lack of adequate and accessible tourist information. There wasn't even a brochure providing details about local attractions or the main points of interest in the area. This made planning activities during the stay quite challenging. Lastly, the hotel's location is undoubtedly its weakest point. It is located far from the city center, meaning guests need to be prepared to walk long distances or rely on taxis to get around. Overall, my experience at this hotel was quite disappointing, and I would not recommend it to other travelers unless there are significant improvements in its management and maintenance.

The staff was extremely unprepared. They don’t speak English. My experience in the check in and in the check out was terrible. The person in the front desk wasn’t able to explain me anything when we arrived, nor the room, facilities. Etc And my check out was even worse, I have to left at midnight to the airport, they cannot find my bill, the person at the front desk was not even there. Somebody from security has to call him and we have to wait almost 30 mnts for the person to come to find the checkout papers. The service was not clearly a 5-star hotel at all. Lot to improve. Rgds

My room had no water (for a few hours) 3 days during my stay. And I stayed 6 days in the hotel. Also, the room was huge, with multiple areas, but besides the bedroom, the other areas were poorly decorated and barely had furniture, and no AC. So we ended up using only the bedroom area, and all the rest of the space was useless.

Great pool and bar areas, and great gym. The staff was super friendly and polite.
