The restaurant staff do not speak English at all, perhaps this could be an area of improvement.

The location was super convenient， 5 mins walking distance to the waterfall service point, 5 mins by car to the airport. 30 mins to the city but then again it's not the most important thing to go to the city of you come here to visit the waterfall;) The staff, even tho majority don't speak English, they try very hard to make the guests happy. I give them a Ten for the customer first attitude. Room and facilitates are beyond our expectations, facilities in the public area are beyond 5 star hotel standards, the standatrd room could be a bit bigger :)

the Sanma Hotel is perfectly located to visit the Falls. It’s walking distance! It’s perfectly groomed and maintained inside and out. Spotlessly clean and polished!!!The walkways, lawn and pool area were immaculate. Stylishly furnished interiors.

The best hotel service I’ve ever had !! The hotel and its equipment (pool, jacuzzi, pool table) are amazing but the staff is really the big plus ! They were really accommodating with us, helped us book a taxi, were flexible with the hours ect.. I would say this is the best hotel you could stay at for the price if you visit the falls.

This is not directly linked to the hotel; however, the weather is incredibly humid because of the waterfall and the rainforests. During our stay, we saw few items in our luggage were damp because of the humidity. I guess better insulation can be installed or systems regarding this can be installed throughout the hotel.

When we arrived way earlier than the check-in time, we were welcomed with several glasses of champagne. They had us seated while they were handling the documents. Since it was earlier than expected, they asked us whether we were hungry and offered us free breakfast. The breakfast was marvelous, they prepared most of the plates exclusively. They offered champagne and the service was amazing. The staff was always so helpful. Also, hotel's proximity to all places worth visiting is at a walkable distance - almost 200 m. Parque des Aves is right next to the hotel, so you wake up with birds chirping in the morning. We had dinner at the hotel along with a few drinks from the bar, all were marvelous. They kindly helped us with a few printouts as well when we were checking out. The hotel is also newly refurbished so everything is nice and comfortable. The decoration and amenities are also well qualified.

The location can be a problem if you want to stay close to the city as uber services are not very good. So you can wait for like 20-30 minutes for a car or call a taxi which is more than double the price. If you don't mind being close to the city as we didn't, this is not a problem.

The hotel is amazing! Just renovated with nice new rooms, great pool. The breakfast was also great, the restaurant is nice although small and without many options. It has a great location, close to the airport and just 5 minutes walk from the Iguacu Falls park and Parque das Aves. Great retreat to relax. I totally recommend it.

While the hotel is in a perfect location for visiting both Parque das Aves and the Brazilian side of the falls, the hotel is a bit distant from downtown. Unless one has a car, one can get pretty isolated at the hotel; I am not sure this is really an issue of the hotel, but thought it was worth mentioning it.

The grounds of this hotel is beautiful; the continental breakfast was delicious and filling; the staff is extremely well trained and very polite. We arrived at 8AM, and while check in was not until after 2PM, we were invited to have breakfast and offered our room immediately after enjoying a great selection of fruits, meats, and pastries. Pushing our luck, I decided to ask for a late checkout as our flight was not until 6PM. Fernanda, who by the way is an amazing host, simply replied saying it was not a problem and switched our check out to 5PM.

I loved staying at Sanma, the hotel has been recently renewed, facilities are great, all the staffs are very kind, and the location is perfect for who want's to visit the brazilian side of the falls and the birds park!

There’s nothing not to like about the hotel. Nothing negative and only good things to say about my stay.

This was a fantastic hotel, where staff were exceptionally friendly and polite. They even remembered my partners birthday and sang happy birthday to him during breakfast and presented him with a cake and candle. Every staff member said happy birthday which made it very personalised. Food was delicious where I had their pasta dishes. Great selection for breakfast where they serve you a variety of fruit and bread. Also offer omelette or scrambled eggs. Lovely pool and great view of the sunset. Room was perfect, where we had all the amenities we needed. It was always so clean and they changed the towels at least twice in one day. They even left us with little chocolate bars on the bed when we had come back from our daily tours. location was a bit far from the Centre where it was difficult to call an Uber from there. Taxi to the centre worked out to be around the range from 40-62 Brazilian Reals. Top notch service at this hotel as they would help carry luggage to the rooms upon arrival and open the car doors for you when you enter the car or about to come out of the car. Only 5-10mins walk to the Brazilian Iguazu Waterfalls and the Bird park. Would definitely stay here again!

I have nothing I didn't like.

The location is not only convenient, 3 minutes drive from the airport and walking distance to the National Park of Iguaçu or the Birds Park, but it is extraordinarily beautiful including a nice walking trail of around 2 km in the back. The facilities are all world class, the staff are extremely friendly and useful, going the extra mile to help any need. And on top of that the food was magnificent.

No massive issues, but a couple of things: + Beds were very hard and rooms a little basic for a five star (you don’t spend much time in them though, as the rest of the hotel is so nice!). + Building work outside our room at 7:30/8am on one morning (was within the hotel confines). + Pool food wasn’t great, but the food elsewhere was very good to be fair.

The communal areas in the building are absolutely stunning - maybe one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Pool area beautiful, gym and spa excellent for a hotel and the lobby, bar and restaurant beautifully finished. Staff absolutely fantastic too!

Nothing that we didn’t like. Perhaps an improvement to the bathroom sink which took a while to drain but it could have been just our room. no issues.

This hotel is amazing especially for its location (5min walk to parc das aves and 10min walk to iguacu falls entrance). The hotel’s restaurant were able to cater for my wife’s special diet (gluten free and vegan) for both dinner and breakfast which were all excellent. All the staff were friendly and professional. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor jacuzzi and pool in the evening while drinking caipirinhas after a long day of adventuring.
