The three tears beds in the share dorms, the top bunk bed is dangerous when getting in and out because the head space is very low the lockers are too small for backpacks, so everyone puts their stuff on the floor blocking walking paths and causing tripping hazards at night, The second floor toilet in the Men washroom always smells like urine showers on the second floor are too small no where to hang your towels and clothes

From the staff to the surfing instructors everyone is very welcoming , friendly, and wonderful people Beautiful hostel with the pool, with enough showers and toilets for everyone right on the beach with a beautiful view of the mountains, the islands, the beach and the ocean, very chill atmosphere, It's a surfing paradise.

Wow! I can't contain my excitement to share my incredible experience at this hostel! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel like family. Their warmth and hospitality were beyond compare - always ready to help with a smile! And let's talk about the location - absolutely mind-blowing! Right in the heart of all the action, with breathtaking views that left me speechless. Whether I was exploring the vibrant streets or soaking in the stunning scenery, every moment was pure magic. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Thank you to the amazing staff and this hostel for making my trip unforgettable! 10 out of 10, without a doubt!

I think bathrooms need an update ASAP

It's a great place to dive into the real surf vibe by the beach and get away from the city hustle. You will have everything you need in one place, although far from Rio, you will enjoy an incredible setting and local food. Staff is very friendly and made my stay even better :)

The only think that I didn’t like was the wifi connection. It didn’t reach the pool or even sometimes the room. It would have been nice to relax by the pool and watching something. Besides that everything was alright

It was really nice and clean. Really a nice location to relax and enjoy a little weekend trip. They always had plans and weekly activities for the guest. The staff was also really nice and friendly and always ready to help you if you had any concerns or needed any help. Would recommend this hostel :)

Our towel was not very very clean when we arrived, some things on our room was broken (toilet seat, handle of the door and the outside light) but everything else was so nice that this was insignificant

Perfect location for surfing or just for enjoying the surf vibe. Very friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Comfy rooms, clean bathrooms and equipped kitchen.

- It was not possible to open or close some of the windows (some windows look like windows in a church (coloured glass), which is very nice to look at, however some of them have little cracks) - The rooms have not many hooks which makes it hard for wet things to dry

- The location is perfect - Very stylish room - Very nice staff - Perfect surf lessons! We were complete beginners, it was not at all frustrating but very much fun and we made good progress in only two days. Ask for Andrey as a teacher.

The bathrooms and rooms could be cleaner. I did like that they installed curtains in the middle of my stay there. It was nice. Maybe a screen for the window would be nice? My roommates and I could barely sleep one night because of the mosquitos. 🙈

Prime location and amazing staff. I loved my stay at Longboard Surf Club! Shout-out to Barbara from reception and Eddie at the café who were so kind and helpful! It's amazing that there was a gym for guests too!

There is very little room to dry equipment and store your belongings. The lockers in the dorms are small and there is no where to hang things around the bed or in the room. Some hooks on the wall would be perfect. The restaurant attached is expensive.

The location is perfect - right on the beach opposite the surf. The facilities are lovely, very friendly and homely. The surf instructors are incredible, so friendly, patient and kind.

Being a beach hostel, everything (bathroom, kitchen, couches in the pool area) was always wet even if they kindly ask people to use a different entrance when coming back from the water. I was always seing cleaning staff working in the common areas though. The kitchen is also pretty small for such a big hostel.

This place is a real surf hub and there is a real vibe going on. It's a great place to socialise and the safe a beautiful beach is right in front just like a big choice of restaurants. The yoga classes (twice a week or more) were let by a very good instructor and they have a restaurant in the hostel that serves good breakfast. Also nice hot showers with strong stream.

The kitchen was dirty when I came there for a long time, but when I asked to clean it up it was done in no time. There were only a few bathrooms, and some of them didn’t flush good. The showers were not as clean as I would hope them to be. The dormitaries had a lot of beds.

The surf vibes were definitely there! The lessons and board rent were a bit pricey, but also very good. Specially the teachers knew what they were doing, giving good tips. The hangout area had nice spots and the beds were comfortable. The location is perfect and just beautiful. All in all a good hostel with nice staff!
