Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

BrazilThe guesthouse offers transfers to and from the airport, collection at the airport must be done once an hour with 2 breaks during the day. After an 11 hour flight, I was waiting for the van at the boarding point at the time the van was supposed to arrive, according to their schedule, but the driver decided not to show up, there was also a family with a baby and an elderly man who had to wait longer one hour. When I texted the driver, he didn't even bother to give me an excuse, he just said to wait. The hostel says in its ads that the transfer is complementary, but it is the main reason why someone would choose that unpleasant place. In addition to our disappointing first impression, the night receptionist was on the verge of being rude.
The receptionists at the checkout (two male) were nice.

United StatesI waiting a hour for the dinner, my daughter's dinner came cold, I order a meet well done, it's came like it was not cooked. The staff recommended order a juice jar instead 2 cups of it, the jar is more expensive than 2 cups ,but it has exactly the amount of 2 cups🧐. After all this events they not charge the dinner...To summarize, the restaurant was what I didn't like at all, and made me not go back there, look like they are very understaff on the restaurant.
The staff was cordial, everything was good but the restaurant.

ArgentinaThe room had no windows at all, it was really small and the walls have splash paint so if you rub them (as the space is so limited) it hurts you. The breakfast place was clean but all dark, no windows, no clean air. The breakfast was white bread and saussage with coffe and fake juice. We are vegetarians so we had nothing to eat.
The transportation from airport to hotel and visceversa was exactly as expected. They were fast to give us our room even when it was late at night. The bed was not ideal but we were able to sleep nicely. It was the cheapest in the airport area

We couldn't sleep, next morning there was no water nor electricity due to the heat wave. Of course for the price we cannot ask for much, but I wouldn't stay here again
