Room smelled of damp, bedsheets kept coming away from the bed because they weren't large enough to fold under the bed.

Great swimming pool, great breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Cute cat and dog on site. Cute monkeys visit the hostel.

The only thing that really bother me is that Paraty regularly runs out of eletrecity and Selina has no prepare for it. Even emergency lights or a generator. The rooms were burning hot, many people left that day because of it. And apparently it happens ALL the time. I've seen also two cockroaches in the restaurant area.

The cylinder is super comfortable, amazing garden, great staff and location. The best part for me though is how really pet friendly they are and also how they take care of the animals around (street dogs and cats). They probably should castrate them, but offering care, food and vaccines is already very beautiful.

I would suggest trying to clean the shared bathrooms more often or as the first thing in the day as they were sometimes nasty until late in the morning. It would be also nice if the kitchen had more cutlery, glasses, utensils - especially for long stays.

The place is beautiful and the staff is super kind and flexible. They really want to make sure you will have a good stay. The dorm is good and has AC. Breakfast also was a well-served portion.

Good location. Private rooms are more like individual villas which was perfect for us. Good sized, modern room and en-suite. Good selection of breakfast options. Nice swimming pool and area to sit around it. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful in booking taxis and helping us look at coaches for travelling to our next location.

Pipe rooms are a bit small.

I stayed at the 804 room, at the very end of the property. To move the luggage until the bedroom is a bit of a hassle because the little pathway is made with stones, not really adequate for suitcases.

Common areas are amazing, landscape us really beautiful. Location is also great, close to the Historic Center of Paraty.

The property is absolutely beautiful with the flowers and pool and such. However, this is probably one of the most unkempt Salinas that I have had the opportunity to visit. First, there is never any toilet paper, soap or paper towels in the main bathroom in the lobby… to me this is the most basic thing to upkeep for the comfort of the guests. Number 2, if you plan to cook, even the most basic meal, utensils and glassware, are NEVER available and something important is always missing. I was always having to ask the waitress for something Number 3, soap in the room is always empty. if they aren’t going to provide soap, they should simply remove it from the showers Number 4, the cover on the mattress is a literal sheet. Therefore, by the time I moved around in the night, I woke up sleeping on a bare mattress which is pretty gross. also, for breakfast, they only fill your coffee mug Galway.. like why?!?. the culmination of all these little things add to an annoyance for the guests. overall, I liked the place but they are seriously lacking attention to detail compared to other Selina’s.

The beds need a mosquito net around them. Of course, there's not a lot the staff can do about mosquitos! But we kept doors and windows closed for the entirety of our stay but there still managed to be dozens in the room and we were still eaten alive by them every night in bed! I have 7 bites on my face and more elsewhere. It made it hard to get a good night sleep despite the comfortable bed.

Facilities were fabulous, lovely social bar area and the pool was lovely. The rooms were clean and spacious and the bed very comfortable.

The room was brilliant however would have loved it if the duvet had sheets on it, could see marks on the duvet from people who had previously stayed. And if the room could be turned around each day, not clean sheets as bad for environment. However just made up, makes it feel special!

The staff are amazing and so helpful for booking tours or recommending restaurants. I would highly recommend, the rooms are pretty basic however you have your own little hut and feel totally alone. Thank you for such a wonderful welcome to Brazil!

The bathroom in our room was not very functional -- no place to hang towels, no shelving, poorly functioning toilet, and only one water temperature & flow in the shower (off or on, no way to adjust it). The service in the restaurant was very slow, and the kitchen seemed to run out of a lot of menu items. Also, there was a very loud DJ party on our first afternoon that went on for several hours when we really wanted to rest.

Location was great, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the property/grounds were beautiful. We also really enjoyed the boat tour we booked through the hotel.
