Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

BrazilPool towels should NOT be charged extra just for requesting a change to dry towels after returning from the 4-hour ecotourism. The pool towel is to be used for ecotourism. The tours are scheduled with the hotel tourism company. These tours are expensive, require a towel which become dirty and sometimes too wet to be used in the pool in the afternoon especially when it rains (which happens quite often). Either the tourism company should provide their own towels for guests or the hotel should just replace the towels free of charge.
Location was perfect. Many pools so the distribution of guests in a pool area was not crowded which was very special.

Don't often leave a review, but this place is incredible. It's the perfect base for exploring Bonito, looks just like the pictures with great pools and swim up bars. We were kindly upgraded to a private pool by the owner Paul who was very welcoming. All the staff were very helpful, especially Alifer the bartender who was always helpful despite us speaking different languages.

AustraliaHonestly it was pretty perfect. We had a vegan guest with us so there could’ve been some more vegan options for food but they were very accomodating and tried to whip things up for us. There were also plenty of options in town.
The breakfast was excellent, the town was super safe to walk around for lunch, dinner and shopping, the staff were so helpful in helping us organising trips and excursions and they gave us a free upgrade on arrival! Overall a gorgeous experience, could not recommend it more.

AustraliaEverything was exceptional. From beginning to end, the staff were amazing, very communicative via whatsapp. The food was always fresh and super tasty. Local fish everyday!! The cabins were very spacious and well maintained, very clean. Activities were organised to be at a reasonable pace. The heat and humidity meant that it was easy to become tired and overwhelmed, so the guides would provide breaks and downtime in between.

This hotel was welcoming, very clean and had nice swimming pools to use after being out all day on tours. The reception staff were very helpful at all times. Paulina in the tour department helped us book fabulous tours with travel logistics that worked perfectly.
