How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Nothing to say here- no complaints. Everything was great. We would definitely stay here again!
The property was so charming and comfortable. The outdoor kitchen, hammocks, and dining space was a great place to hang out and meet other travelers. There was a beautiful pool and BBQ area as well. Cris and Vinicius are the kindest, most helpful hosts I've encountered, with a wealth of great tips for the area.

Cris is the most helpful host!! She let us check in early (as soon as we arrived in Iguazu around 10am) and helped us so much with logistics, the best way to see both sides of the falls, booked a taxi for us etc. Nothing was too much to ask! Amazing value for money, great breakfast and excellent location right by the border. Would 100% recommend this pousada!

Cris and Vinícius are great people. They gave us many tips about Foz do Iguaçu and were very friendly. The place is great, very new and with everything you need. In Foz do Iguaçu is not possible to be close to everything, so this place is very close to Argentina and the Cataratas falls. But access to the other areas is very easy.

Cris was amazing and helpful! The breakfast was incredible, hot and on demand. They gave all the best advice of how to best visit Iguazu Falls. The location was perfect… right by the Argentina border. It was quiet but close to town and airport. The hotel was immaculate, and beautiful. We couldn’t say enough wonderful things.

Cris and her husband were so helpful, nothing was too much for them. the rooms and breakfast was absolutely fantastic. the property is very close to the border and not too far in a taxi if you want to go into town. excellent value for money!

The host is amazing! We arrived very late (at around 3 am) and she did not sleep and met us. Then in the morning we decided to skip breakfast time to sleep more, but she kept breakfast for extra 1.5 hours so that we could eat! A very personable and warm facility!

The room was perfectly clean and comfortable but the best part was the owner Cris who has explained me everything about passing the boarder to Argentina to see the falls, as well as she helped me to organize my trip to Assuncion, get COVID test, taxis and so on! She was irreplaceable!

just note that it is not in city venter but right next to the border (closer to the falls). But need to take bus or uber/taxi to get to the falls and town. Perhaps more for family/couples than solo travellers (unless you are looking for some alone time).
Great Pousada run by Cris and her husband. She speaks English very well and was super helpful in giving information on how to visit the falls on both sides and other things such as ordering bus tickets etc. breakfast is great and room is nice. pool is refreshing after spending the day in the hot sun.

Well this felt not like a hotel but rather like visiting your loving relatives :D Such amazing hospitality, I all the time felt at home. Cris speaks very good English and is ready to help with everything. It is obvious that she she made a lot of effort to make this place cozy, there are so many small details in the interiors and everything is done with a lot of love. You can get advise on what to see around the city and also help to travel to Argentina side of Iguazu Falls at a reasonable price and great comfort. This was one of the best hotel experiences I had and I have traveled a lot around the world.

Everything was perfect. Cris was an amazing host and helped us with anything we needed. The place was clean, quiet and amazing value. Breakfast was so good! If you’re visiting the falls, don’t hesitate to book here. It seems complicated going back and forwards through the border but it was really simple and Cris explained it to us.
