There was nothing that I could complain about.

The house and the facilities exceded our expectations. Everything was clean and tidy. It’s difficult to put in words the kindness and warmth of the family. In an nutshell, we felt at home. I can highly recommend Pousada Rio das Aguas. We will definitely return! La casa y las instalaciones excedieron nuestras expectativas. Todo estaba limpio y ordenado. Es difícil describir la amabilidad y calidez que tuvo la familia con nosotros. En resumen, nos sentimos como en casa. Con seguridad volveremos!

The house of the host is truly beautiful. We felt very secure and at ease. The location is very good. The rooms are very nice as well as the pool. It was clean and the bathroom perfect. The breakfast consisted of a small buffet which had everything needed. The cake, the fruits, coffee and eggs were delicious. But the most important part of this place are the hosts. They were so welcome, nice and helped us with everything we needed. We will never forget our stay and had an amazing time there.

Could hear people downstairs and in the hall. I imagine that just for this time, noise from construction (the quincho section updates) started very early in the morning. We did not need anything in particular.

Easy access. Good service from both people we were in contact with. Nice room and clean bathroom. Quincho section being updated so would think that in a near future the premises will be even better. GOod breakfast.

The lighting was very poor and in the hallways it was difficult to find the switches. Each room had a change of level at the threshold which was DANGEROUS especially with the dim lighting. I fell and broke 2 vertebrae in my back. They need to mark the change in levels with yellow tape and have motion-detector lighting which is brighter.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We were allowed to park our rental car in a covered garage.

We were not informed that the entire courtyard was being renovated and the grounds were being excavated to repair water lines for the pool. So the courtyard and pool could not be used. Also, we arrived home from dinner and nobody was there to let us in. We appreciate the security of being buzzed in on arrival, but we had to try and call the owner to come and let us in. Fortunately, some other guests heard us and let us in. Also, it's not the best location. There are no stores and very few restuarants in walking distance.

Breakfast was adequate. The room was large with ample storage and multiple outlets for charging. Good bathroom.

Cleanliness. Although towells and bedding seemed clean, I had to wipe the dust everywhere else - all shelves, desk, night tables. It was really really dusty. I suspect this may be from heavy construction on top of the second floor. Construction gets noisy only in the afternoon when you're supposed to be out so the noise did not bother me as much as dust did.

Friendly owner and beautiful house. Room is spacious with comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom, and has a nice hot shower. I wish there were mosquito nets in windows. I don't like using a/c, but with windows open, I was constantly getting bitten by mosquitoes. Location is ok if you rely on Uber or your private driver. You can not go anywhere without it - the house is located in a nice and quiet residential area. With a solid metal gate and a big family always in the house, it felt EXTREMELY safe.

It was very hot and humid in Foz do Iguacu during our stay, and the common areas of the Pousada were hot, The bathroom was modern, a good size, and well appointed. However the water in the shower cut out after a short time - perhaps instructions would be helpful.

The breakfast included wide range of foods. The hostess also accommodated an early breakfast for us on one day, which was appreciated. We were in Foz do Iguacu during Carnavale, and so a lot of restaurants were closed, and taxis / uber rides took a while to arrive. The hostess had her son drive us to a shopping centre with a food hall, which was helpful. The bedroom was air-conditioned, and the bed was very comfortable.

Our room was very dirty, there was blood on the bathroom floor which was not cleaned throughout our stay. There was a cockroach in the shower which we had to remove ourselves and the floors were very dirty. Our room was just off the dining area so it was very noisy in the mornings and if people were socialising in their in the afternoons. The family kept birds which could be noisy at times, but they were removed at night. The family spoke very limited English and didn’t attempt to communicate with us, which meant that we didn’t know basic details such as how to leave the property. We ended up leaving a day early and moved to a much nicer hotel which was also cheaper.

The breakfast was nice, with lots of options. The location was good, to the south of the city so it is close to the airport and waterfalls. There are a few restaurants nearby. Being connected to Giovanni was helpful for our trip to Argentina.

Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. I am from the US but live in Brazil with my husband, and my mother was visiting for her birthday so I planned a trip to Foz, months in advance, reserving the best room with a balcony and bathtub to celebrate. When I reserved the room, I said it was for her birthday and Adriana said she would do something special like arrange a cake. I was pleasantly surprised at the hospitality. However, after attempting to confirm the reservation and arrange a surprise for my mom a month before, my messages were unanswered. Less than a week before, Adriana messaged me and said that there was a “problem” with the room and we would be moved to another room. I expressed my disappointment because I had specifically booked the room because of the balcony and bathtub and the new room had neither, but I figured there was a technical problem like broken AC and nothing could be done. Adriana offered to give us complimentary caipirinhas when we arrived. Imagine our surprise when we arrived and there were people staying in the room we had booked. There was no apology or acknowledgement of the mistake and how we were affected. I understand mix ups happen but it felt disrespectful to be lied to with no apology. Not only that, the first room we booked was more expensive and when I asked for a discount at check out because of the trouble, Adriana gave a small discount without saying anything about the error. And we never got those caipirinhas, or any birthday surprise for my mom. I was very surprised at this given the amount of positive reviews. Apart from that, the room we were moved to was on the ground floor, right next to breakfast which was served early and very noisy starting at 6am, making it impossible to sleep. The room had a window to the pool so we had to close the shades for privacy at all times, making the room very dark.
