How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The staff was not very friendly and they have a weird rule that the breakfast is by name, not allowing for any flexibility. My husband was working remotely at the Netherlands time, starting at 5am, so he never had any breakfast. My sister would come to help me with my baby, but we had to depend on the good will of the employee of the day to allow her to replace my husband for breakfast, which was already paid for. I chose this hotel specially for the swimming pool, but the sun only reached it during my baby's lunch time and nap, so I couldn't use it.
The room was clean and they provided a crib and a bathtub for my baby.

The wi-fi was not great and the breakfast didn't have too many options.
Room was comfortable and clean, bed was comfortable, I requested a quiet room and it was very quiet. Staff was helpful in everything we needed. The location is very good, just a few minutes away from Avenida Paulista.

Parking Service: The delay in receiving the car from the parking service (only one or two people during a weekend!)
Bathroom facilities (new) and room layout as well as size and cleanliness. Breakfast had a good variety of products and the staff was very attentive.

The restaurant is not fully operational yet, the coffee needs improvement, needs better replacement of products (run out of orange juice 9:30 in the morning).

I wish the hotel would be more forthcoming about additional prices and requirements for pets. There isn't anything about extra costs when booking and then a hefty price is added afterwards which would have been good to know about. Other than that, staff were welcoming and helpful when it came to my pet.

Fire protection system was not operational during our stay (official printed announcement by the hotel). Not sure for how long. It’s good that the hotel informs its guests, but with 20+ floors, the management shouldn’t take any risk (and close down until fully compliant with).
Good location, Sufficient number of elevators to avoid waiting or crowded elevators. Good beds, pleasant modern rooms, nice view.

Doors to my business suite room is not sound proof, can always hear the opposite guest room door closing when guest was going in and out. Can also hear housekeeping outside.
Comfortable room. Reception staff all very professional and efficient.

The upgrades I purchased should have bought a better room or included the breakfast as an additional amenity.
The breakfast buffet was good but expensive. I expected it to be included in the rate but it was not. I upgraded twice on Booking.com and got the same 4oom I had used in February for a much lower rate.

The property is dated. The lobby is in desperate need of new furniture. The lobby is under a glass enclosure which bakes in the morning sun and the AC cannot keep up making it warm and uncomfortable. I could go on and on. I gave them shirts to wash the stains did not come out. This is just a disappointing stay the slamming of the doors of the room doors at night is in unbelievable you cannot sleep. The breakfast is bad scrambled eggs that are raw stale pastries just not good.
The proper location is all I liked

The staff is not friendly. Every time I had a visitor from work, I was charged 40€. Worst of all I am still waiting for the invoice I was promised to receive my email in the next days. It’s been more than one month and no one answers my messages. I have been there a couple of times and I don’t intend to stay again.
Location and room view are very good. So is the breakfast

Our room was on the 3rd floor ! Room outdated and not what I expected of a Radisson. I am booked to stay there again next week but will cancel and change to another hotel.
