How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

WiFi was weak in my room. Air conditioner was very slow, but eventually cooled the room. Electric slower provided very low pressure. Parking is not secure. It's just a few spots next to the hotel.
Good budget accommodations. The staff speaks some English. There's an elevator available.

Some of the staff were not very helpful at all, didn't really do their job properly, when we arrived they just said here is your key, find your room basically. They will charge you for the water in the room even though there is no sign saying they will. Kitchen has hardly any utensils and one and a half broken plates, and the only thing you can cook on is a weird electric pan thing, no hob so only one pot meals and only one person cooking at a time.
Easy to find and the location was okay to town and surrounding areas. Room was clean

They need to improve cleaning. I saw a few little cockroaches. Their mattres wasn't very comfortable.
I liked their price. Was very cheap, clean. Their bedroom had fridge, bathroom, location wasn't far from the terminal.

Little noisy because on main road... I found wifi issue but they fixed it after a day... Newly opened hotel I think still need to update alot
It's affordable for a 1 or 2 night stay specially for budget travelers. Staff tried there best to assist

The kitchen is very poorly equipped/supplied - no hob or oven (only a microwave and sink), no bowls, - hard to actually make any food

AC/Heater broken. Pillows not that good. The safe didn’t work and was being locked by a plastic bottle lid.
Really nice front desk. We arrived early (11am) and they allowed us to check in early. Nice ambience, comfortable bed and okay room space.

I had a very unpleasant stay at this hotel and strongly advise other travelers to avoid it. First of all, the staff was extremely unfriendly. I dealt with three different employees, and none of them were helpful or polite. After the first night, I asked Employee No. 1 if they could clean my room and provide fresh bed linen and towels. When I returned in the evening, nothing had been done. I then spoke to Employee No. 2, who impatiently told me I should have left my key. Instead of solving the problem, he handed me fresh bed linen and said I had to do it myself. Another very uncomfortable experience occurred with Employee No. 3. One evening, I asked him for a good restaurant recommendation and whether it was safe to walk around at night as a tourist. He assured me it was safe and gave me his hand to promise. However, he then started stroking my hand and made inappropriate suggestions that I should stay with him and sleep with him. On the day of my check-out, I overslept. Employee No. 1 knocked on my door. I shouted through the door that I would be right out, as I needed to get dressed first. Despite my calls, he knocked again and even tried to unlock the door and come in. Such behavior from the staff is completely unacceptable. This hotel should definitely be avoided.

The bathroom was a bit weird with a window inside that opened into the room. The shower tiles were not meant for a shower so they were slippery. The beds were a bit uncomfortable. The overall cleaning could have been better.
This is a very basic place that is ok for an overnight stay but I don't think I could stay here for a longer period.

The wifi was not working at my room, room was not that clean and besides that there were cockroaches in my bedroom. First night I thought I could have only dreamed with that, but the 2nd night I saw plenty of them. I complained with the staff and they just changed my room. I noticed that the management was aware about the problem but does not take any action.
Staff was nice and sheets and towels were clean. Good location.

I saw some reviews saying that it’s a pity that this hotel doesn’t provide breakfast. Well what I want to say is there is a supermarket three blocks away from the hotel, called “ ÍTALO”, which provides very delicious breakfast including pastel sandwich fruit juice etc you can imagine, with very reasonable price.
Great location, near both the avenue and bar area. Easy to take bus to visit Iguaçu waterfall and Itaipu. Comfy mattress and quilts, we had a very good sleep. Strong hot water. Fast Wi-Fi . Near the reception has one small kitchen quipped with everything you need to make your own food.
