Walter was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. When I arrived, I enquired about a transfer to Rio de Janeiro, and he immediately organised it for me. I received my bus/boat ticket 30 minutes after. I love the front porch with mountain view. The room was big, clean, it had hooks to hang your clothes, fridge, hot water, air-conditioning, and it was a decent size.

Bit of an uphill walk but nothing too taxing.

Fantastic place to stay in Ilha Grande. Proper kitchen, large room with good air conditioning and a big fan and fridge. Good shower and a nice terrace with a hammock and ample space for eating. Very clean and well maintained. Loved it. Filtered water available. Good WiFi and cable tv.

Very nice hotel or should I say a real pousada! Walter is friendly and have goods advices (we did a boat trip, thanks to him) The location is also very interesting, you will see by yourself :)

It was unfortunate to have a storm coming. They turned on the generator for some light and fan to work on the first night, the second one it was completely blacked out.

The place is great. Comfortable and clean. Nice to be a bit outside the main street but also not too far.

A bit far from the beach, apart from that nothing negative to say about this place.

We enjoyed staying there as a family around Christmas and discover all this beautiful island has to offer. Walter and his colleagues were extremely helpful with all the things we needed, from guided tours to birthday cakes! They made us feel right at home. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

The kitchen could use some additional equipment and the mattress is very hard.

We got a very spacious triple room with modern and clean facilities and an outside seating area in the front. The location is perfect: outside of the noisy and busy town centre but only a 3' walk away from all the shops, supermarkets, amd restaurants. The beaches are about 5' away. A shared kitchen is also available. Friendly owners.

Rooms got so, so hot over the course of the day whilst we were out & took ages to cool down with the fans at night - we didn’t sleep very well at all.

Great large and spacious room with fridge & plenty of shelves for clothes/storage. Kitchen kept tidy. Staff were kind and helped us arrange a transfer to Rio when we checked out.

The kitchen is old and dirty so you don’t want to take plates from there and cook there. The stove is also old and dirty that making coffee is not that pleasant No air conditioning

Some of the appliances in the rooms and kitchen were a bit dated, no air-con just noisy fans but they looked to be getting new items delivered so may be modernising.

No hot water to shower. Kitchen is outdoors. V small designated area to "cook" Room we had smelt of damp, poor ventilation. Outdoor designated space for our room to cook was not available ( no gas bottle )

The room did not have A/C and it gets very hot on the island. There was no breakfast included in the stay.

The shower had warm and hot water. There is a kitchen for guests to use. Overall the place is very clean.
