Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

PolandAt the beginning, I experienced problems with access to the Internet in my room, after several calls to the reception, nothing changed, in the end, contacting Booking support helped solve the problem and they changed my room. Breakfast was the same all week but overall it was ok for the money.
The location is convenient but can be noisy. The rooms are old but clean. Overall it wasn't bad

GermanyThe shower was malfunctioning and no heated water. The staff offered to change rooms but we had no time to do it as we were always wishing in a 2-night stay. Very noisy at night because it's a Main Street with two bars across playing very loud live music. But we would up enjoying the show from the room.
A historic building with a breakfast hall that just needs to be seen to be believed. The staff was super nice and very helpful. Elevator. Very good breakfast.

CanadaWe are really not fussy sleepers but the street noise from a cacophony of very loud bars, continual heavy traffic and late night activity made sleeping impossible.. there are no closed windows just metal vents so the street is really happening in your room….bring earplugs!!!
The building has some kooky ‘old-school’ charm. It was clean.
