Nothing that the resort could change but the beach is very steep and made it a bit uncomfortable.

Very convenient resort. A lot to do within walking distance. Very good restaurants onsite and overall a peaceful atmosphere.

Rooms could be better maintained. The door from the cabinet under the sink fell out on our first day there and we had to fix it, couldn't get a safe working. We initially also struggled to figure out how to get the shower working and when we did it, we got water pouring from the tap and the shower at the same time.

Good location, nice resort with it's own beach and the public beach around the corner. Few restaurants around, public transport to the downtown nearby. Very nice staff (Bahamians seem very nice and helpful in general). Fairly close to the airport.

Our room wasn't as clean as it should have been. There were multiple long hairs on the shower walls and around the edge of the tub. It made me wonder about the cleanliness of things that we couldn't see.

The location and grounds were good but there were areas that seemed a little dated. The location and quality of the breakfast dining area was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The security was good. There were dining options close by.

Some of the rooms and facilities are a little dated and could do with updating

Great location, 15 minute drive from the airport. There are 4 Bars/restaurants within walking distance from Sandyport a beautiful cocktail bar, a cafe for breakfast and lunches and a fuel station which do takeaway food and some shopping essentials. We had booked a Lagoon suite room and a couple of double rooms which were right on the lagoon beach so we could pop in and out all day. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, Lady Jayne helped us book a boat trip up.

The experience in the hotel’s restaurant in leaves room for improvement. Also, the cleaning personnel could do a slightly better job too.

Very quaint caribbean resort. It’s quiet and perfect to spend a relaxing time in Nassau but still enjoy all its perks. Aquatic sports are available on demand. The location is fantastic considering it’s access to a beautiful beach. Having Sandyport “Plaza” with different restaurants and cafes is an incomparable advantage that make Sandyport beach resort so unique

Would have liked non-lumpy pillows and all cotton bedding. Otherwise, everything was good -- including a jacuzzi tub in the middle of the bedroom.

Room was lovely -- spacious. We had a King room with a living room and kitchen and nice balcony overlooking the lagoon. Easy walk to restaurants in or around the property. Easy walk to the sea--the beautiful sea.

Rooms in particular bathrooms are poorly maintained. Considering that they charge 300 bucks per night a remodeling is past due.

The Wifi was off for a few days because of what turned out to be wind damage but it was repaired

I was in an efficiency unit with two gas burners and a small refrigerator and microwave with utensils and dishes. There is a large grocery store within a 15 minute walk and this setup saved signifincantly on food expenses. Food is very expensive in Nassau and this contributes to high expenses in restaurants. There is a major sandy beach (Sandyport) with easy access from the resort.

Quiet and relaxed resort, family friendly with easy access of restaurants, beach and pool, and most important for our family is that the staff were accommodating and kind to my son with disabilities.

The rooms were dated - the door didn't deadbolt, the bathtub was grungy (not unclean just old sealant etc), the shore of the lagoon had litter on it, the beach near the resort that is actually on the ocean was not very appealing. The shower wasn't totally clean.

The lagoon is beautiful, the rooms were big, sandyport had lots of nice restaurants nearby, would be great for kids. Some staff were very friendly and kind.

The bed-sheets are very uncomfortable. no proper shower-gel or shampoo. when we entered the room it was freezing, they must have kept the AC on for days, because it took us several hours to manage to get the room temperature to something that could be bearable to sleep in. For this reason the humidity in the room was unbearable, the mirrors were foggy and everything was starting to be wet.

We loved the location (close to the airport) and very lovely surroundings

Lovely stay within a very quite area

The furniture in the room is way too old and not best maintained. There shower gel and shampoo were really bad quality, so we had to go and buy our own from the supermarket. Upon checkout we had a very bad experience. My partner forgot his smartwatch in the room (on the bed), we realized when we already checked in at another hotel, therefore we went back and tried to tell the stuff what happened. They allowed him in the room, however, the cleaning staff was claiming there was nothing there, no watch or anything. while he inspected the room himself, they manager arrived and they called my partner outside and the watch was laying down on the floor outside of the room next to a pile of sherbets (although the bed-sheets in the room were not yet changed). This made us think if we would have been 30 minutes later, the watch would have been lost.

I have mixed feeling about this, because it started with a great experience, with the reception staff being very helpful and friendly and even giving us a great upgrade for our stay. Location and beach are great. We enjoyed it a lot. Room was spacious and quiet.

Some reviews say the resort is a bit tired. I get what they mean as it’s not got manicured lawns and raked sand. Go to the big resorts for that, this place is more authentic.

Lovely resort hotel with access to a private beach. The lagoon side of the property is a great place to sit and enjoy the sun. The bar tender at Da Conch Shack was very friendly and made great cocktails. Rooms were big, clean and the ones with balconies overlooking the lagoon were lovely.

It is very expensive for the size of our room. It was clean, modern, and nice but for 600+ a night you expect more than just a hotel room. Well out of our price range to make a return visit possible.

The property is beautiful and has fantastic amenities. You really don't need to leave if you don't want to. Multiple restaurants and bars, great coffee shop, friendly and helpful staff, pool with slides, and a beautiful private beach. It's what you picture from a Bahamian vacation.

It's a bit of a way from downtown but really not a big deal as you can take the bus for $1.25. They run fairly frequently and much cheaper than a taxi. Granted we went during New Year so prices were peak but it was quite expensive for what you get.

The facilities were nice and clean. The different colors of the buildings were adorable. It is not an all inclusive but there were many activities you can partake in. There is direct access to a public beach and a lagoon beach on the other side. Both are very nice and relaxing. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The whole area is fantastic! The beach surrounding the hotel blending into the pool is great! Also only a short stroll under the bridge to the public beach. A few bars, restaurants and shops are within the "community" and only about a 10mins drive to the airport of 20mins to downtown Nassau. Lots of games and facilities available for kids and staff were very friendly.
